I would prefer the OTHER guy die for HIS beliefs. I spent over 20 years in service to this country ready to defend, with my life if necessary, the freedoms we now enjoy and the opportunities we are offered. Many American men and women have been wounded, maimed and have died so that people in other countries might have the same opportunities and freedoms we have fought so hard for, and won.

Yes, because by dying you can do so much more than by living and contributing...
Since this question is in 'military', the obvious answer is 'my country'. Most people would say, "God, family, country."
I wouldn't die for anyone. I would live for them. I'll be da**ed if some fool takes my life before I'm done with it.

I'm not afraid of death. I will fight and die for my country, the protection of my family and friends. Standing up for what is right and true. How could anyone be afraid to sit next to god.
