if there main goal is to kill people and terorize people then why havent we seen car bomb attacks across the world and even the United States for that matter. You can see how easy it is to set one off in Iraq many go off everyday killing many. So my question is why havent they used car bombs to kill people all over the world everyday its an easy way to kill many and cause great damage and cause panic and chaos. It just doesnt make sense to me

The main problem with Iraq is that we do not know who is a civilian and who is a terrorist. Unlike past wars like WWII, the bad guys were unmistakable and it was fought on a level playing field. If Iraq consisted of just the bad guys and no civilians, then the U.S. military machine could easily claim victory. Here is a possible solution : "Operation Filter" 1. Force a mass civilian exodus out of Iraq through multiple border checkpoints. Any suspicious persons will be pulled aside. (Yes a few bad guys will of course get through) 2. "Acceptable" civilians would be given some sort of pass card allowing them to return to their homes in the near future. 3. Every Iraqi will be notified that if they do not leave Iraq within a specified time, they will be considered an enemy and can be arrested or killed. 4. Yes it would be a logistical nightmare securing such a large border, but I think it could work with a well thought out plan. Am I crazy? Am I missing something? Or could this work?

I recently took the ASVAB and I got my scores today. I was only able to look at it and keep moving cause there was a line. I scored a 50 The recruiter didn't day wether or not it was good or bad. I tried to read her face but it was expressionless. I have no clue what a 50 means and what jobs I can get. I heard the highest score possible was 99 and it seems like a 50 would be bad but some people are telling me its good and others say it's not. Help anyone?

Shouldn't the people who have strong feelings of support for Bush and the war in Iraq be the first ones to serve instead of others who have to go for the 2 or 3 tour?

Lets say China AND the US suddenly developed some electronic capability to jam nukes (I know this isn't too feasible, but suppose), and since both quickly start building countermeasures, China decides to use the opportunity to attack. They use satellite killing missiles and land masses of troops in surprise attacks, overwhelming the initial opposition they meet, before the US can really muster its forces. Having gained some small areas of US territory and facing now-mustered US forces (somewhat depleted by the Pearl Harbor-like attacks) and the US militia (all our gun-bearing private citizens), the real battle begins.

Describe what you think would happen from there.

I am currently a junior in highschool and recently made the decision to join the Army National Guard. I have a decent GPA (somewhere around 4.2 i think) but I am not the best at math... I just wanted to know about what level of dificulty I should expect, as I was hoping to become a medic, which I imagine requires a pretty high score.
