Do you have a degree? If not, you won't be a pilot in any branch of the military. Minus the few Warrant Officers who are helo pilots in the Army, pilots are officers.

Vision must be only so bad, and correctable to 20/20. I don't know about the hearing though.

Join the Corps if you want to be the best. Everyone else is fighting for second. You know what they say, "The view doesn't change unless you're the lead dog!"

You do need to have very good vision to fly as a pilot in any of the military services. The slight hearing loss could cause problems as well.

Don't give up on the Air Force because you cannot be a pilot. Only a very small percentage of the Air Force are pilots; there are scores of other positions that give valuable training.

The standards for fighter pilots are higher than that of, say...cargo plane pilots. Fighter pilots move at several times the speed of sound and have no real "brakes" on their plane, per se.

You have to be on top of your game all the time to be a fighter pilot.

Good luck!

You must have 20/20 vision to become a fighter pilot.Wearing glasses will correct your vision but you still cant become a pilot.Sorry.You sound as if you will make it just fine in the real world. Good luck

Yes, that is true. If your uncorrected vision is not at least 20/20 you cannot be a fighter pilot.
