Bush admitted that we are losing in the war and that his first plan didn't work. but a few months ago he said we were winning. anyways what do you think about Bush sending over 20,000 young american troops to war. do you think it is the right decision because we can truly win the war with a few more help, or do you think he is setting the troops up for more deaths which will not lead to any victory.

ok folks, here it goes, our media says everything is so bad in iraq, but when our troops come home and they see the news they are shocked that the media is outright lying, there is huge progress in iraq in every way from rebuilding infrastructure to killing tens of thousands of insurgents, zarqawi had a missile dropped on his head and saddam hussein is dangling from a rope.if the truth be told iraq is like 50 times better than what media portrays it to be

I just got back from basic training and now I am told that I might have to go to Iraq in April. The thing is, I was on adderall before basic training, however I didn't tell them that because if I did they wouldn't let me in. After basic training I realized how hard everything was for me without my medication. Now, I know I can't go to Iraq without it. I don't even know if they would let me. So I was wondering if there is a way to get medically disharged for ADD.

Iran and Syria say that it will only pour oil on the fire if the U.S. sends more troops to Iraq. Do any of you truly believe that Iran's first concern is about Iraq or U.S. troops? Or can you comprehend the idea that Iran doesn't want more troops along their border while they are making efforts to totally destroy Israel?

With Tony buttmunch asslicker blair trying to conquer the world for his own legacy is it fair to send our lads to go fight in Afghanistan when we are already overstretched in Iraq. Should we not sort out one conflict before sending men and women to die in another country ? As an ex soldier from the TA i find it a joke that Mr blair and his administration think we are a viable force to tackle all and any world conflict. When i first started my training for the parachute regiment they didn't even have enough boots for us in our size. I had to wear odd sizes for a month!!We have the best service people in the world to my mind yet the governemt sell the forces short because it's not their kids going to fight! Anyone else have similar stories of kit mismanagement?

Dick Durbin made a speech after Bush's last night that said that

The 20,000 was too many lives to risk in Bahgdad
AND that 20,000 was too little to control the situation.

If anyone can convince me that the liberals are not hypocrites, then I will give you $100.

i would like to see the u.s. take a much more even handed approach in the middle east. if they would quit supporting israel and it’s apartheid regime, and work towards setting a realistic peace process, and holding israel accountable for it’s wrongdoings, (i.e.-blowing up peoples homes, seizing land to set up settlements, rape and so on). you see, many arabs see the palestinian problem as the biggest issue in the middle east. and the relentless support for israel,( which the americans are getting nothing back, other than SPIES i.e. jonathan pollard). second, the middle east as a whole, the u.s. needs to stay the hell out of and we DEFINITELY need to change our foreign policies. because of our policies, we are creating the extremism in the middle east towards the west, where before was in very small numbers, and now is growing due the american operations in the middle east.

there are several movies where the person shoots a gun and it comes out the opposite way without them expecting it, causing them to commit suicide. in the movies, someone messes with the chamber of the gun or whatever. so i was wondering, is this really possible?? and how exactly does this work?? i was thinking maybe it is possible with older models but with technological advances i would assume this cant happen, but im not gun expert. any help is appreciated

Has it become clear to Americans that is a war for oil, it has failed, the Bush administration is cowering, does not want to admit one of its many faults, and our troops must be returned.
And for you proud, republican patriots, I ask you to prove me wrong, not by a sentence, but by substantial evidence that is war is not to establish a democracy. and it is a FACT that the administration knew there were know wmd's in Iraq.

kinda weird, considering the 'grand coalition' never was so grand to begin with. I guess it just goes to show why the shrub is increasing troop numbers.
