Has it become clear to Americans that is a war for oil, it has failed, the Bush administration is cowering, does not want to admit one of its many faults, and our troops must be returned.
And for you proud, republican patriots, I ask you to prove me wrong, not by a sentence, but by substantial evidence that is war is not to establish a democracy. and it is a FACT that the administration knew there were know wmd's in Iraq.

we would not go to war with saudi arabia because that country has too much money invested into our economy genius. next, by wmd, i specifically meant nuclear weapons. did we find them...no. traces of them...no.

billy d. what did you prove to me? nothing. you talked about clinton, but you DID NOT disprove my claim about the lacking of wmd's. you DID NOT explain to my whether the Bush Administration cares of democracy for Iraq. I am not like Hitler or Stalin because I DO value eduction, you're stupid for even assuming i don't "because I don't value intellectual thought." And tell me, how did Hitler and Stalin not value intellectual thought? If hilter and Stalin didn't value it, he would be so powerful now would he.
In conclusion, you don't know what you're talking about because you assume I ask this question for the hell of it. no, I do this to express my logic that the Bush administration did not go to war for democracy.

Do you have not a clue as to what you're talking about? Why of coarse not. Basically everything you just said, I can refute with Bush's address last night.

Why would I prove anything to you using facts when you have not used facts to make your claim?

Oil, not in the sense of cheap gas prices, but in terms of the us economy is quite an appropriate reason to go to war, and far more logical of a reason than most countries, even the us has gone to war in the past. If the us economy collapses everyone would be unemployed. But because our economy is reasonably strong, even people like you can have a job, if you have a job.

On the contrary to your disingenuous claim; Bush has on many occasions admitted mistakes.

On WMD'S: Have you ever heard of the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, that was passed by the congress unanimously that made the stated policy of the U.S. one of regime change in Iraq by any means necessary. Clinton ordered the defense department to begin war gaming Iraq scenarios, but was side tracked by the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, and then the attack on the uss Cole. The reason I mention that piece of legislation is because the reason it was passed, according to all the democrats at the time is that Saddam possessed wmd's. If Bush lied than Clinton lied, and Kerry lied, and even Saddam lied because he told the U.N. in 1995 that he had wmd's.

You probably know none of this anyway because people like you don't value knowledge or education of any kind. You're no different that people like Hitler, and Stalin. You want everyone to believe in what you say and discourage any kind of intellectual thought process on any issue what so ever. You don't even deserve a response to your question.

I am a Marine that has been to Iraq 5 times since 911, I want to let you know, that were was wmd, b/c i saw them with my own eyes. We are there for alot more than what the media is telling you. Bush thought there were alot more wmd there and there weren't, they were moved to a different country. This war will end when its safe for america and not until then, just please stand behind the ones that are over there fighting

I didn't read all the post you had me after oil.. did you ever stop to think that maybe we don't know the whole story? Is it a war for oil partially yes. War is always for money, but look at what good may come out of it, (rarely does this happen but hey). The bush admin. is anything BUT COWERING it's because of them your *** hasn't had an attack in the us in over 5 years. by having iraq as a democracy we eliminate a dictatorship threat and we have power so should corruption once again rise, we would be able to take them out.

First of all, the troops are going to be expanded, sending in reinforcement for those already there, and there's nothing you can do about it. Second, the Iraqis have voted in more than one election, and NOW have a government of their own voting. Women now vote in Iraq. That's proof to me. Saddam had WMD. He used them on his own people. He used them on the Kurds! In ending, if there is one thing President Bush doesn't do it's "cower". He's for finding, and killing terrorists where they breed like cockroaches. That's why you hate him!

Again I have to say, find some new ammo. This is old.

As a military wife, I am proud of my husband and the fact that he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep this country safe.
However, I don't have my head in the sand. I said from the start this was a fool's farce. And I don't think Bush's new "plan" is going to do any better than his non-existent old one.
My husband has been there 3 years in a row. This has gone on far too long. It's time to bring them home.

The war was to rid the world of an evil dictator. If it was for oil we would have gone after Saudi (the home country of Bin Ladan)

Prove to me it is a FACT there were no wmd. As I recall, we did find wmd's, just not on the scale you expected.

Not for oil at all, was for security on american soil. WMDs.... Absence of proof is not proof of absence. Saddam was a WMD. The pres is a figurehead of a people supported government. He did not do anything wrong. We all voted for the war because at the time the intel told us that we needed an immediate strike. But you backwater Democrats all want to forget, and just blame blame blame.

I think everyone wants our troops back! Because we have a lot of love ones in the war! It is so stupid of Bush to keep them in there! We are fighting over something real stupid! It is just oil! Our lifes are more important than some stupid oil to make gas for our cars! Maybe if we don't use our cars that much maybe we can save our oil and get our troops back!
