The whole "gay" thing and the Navy is just a joke aimed at teasing Sailors for being stuck on ship for long period with no women. Thats all.
Yes there are some gays in the navy. but no more or less than there are gays in the Army, Airforce, or Marines.
Remember also the saying about Sailors: "A GIRL in every port"
People don't "turn" gay. they either are. or are not.
When I was in the USN two stories come to mind.
1. there was a major scandal at Camp Pendalton for about a dozen MARINES that were caught is a gay porno ring.
2. 3 USN sailors were on trial for brutally killing a shipmate whom they discovered was gay.

Oh, it annoys the hell out of me too!!! they basically do not get the point. If each and every advent must have a author, then god(s) must have one too. And that author also has a author who also has his author, etc. It makes your head spin. yet what annoys me more desirable is the creationists who settle for that god continuously became/is/will be, yet refuse to provide the great Bang theory a chance. you recognize what's humorous? in the journey that that they had the middle to judge that theory, that that they had even comprehend that in a peculiar way that's nicely matched with the theory of god. Meh. i will give up giving them ideas.

I asked my uncle the same thing....
He said that being on a ship for such a long time makes people... "lonely", but they don't turn gay or sleep around because of it. I'm sure it happens occasionally at most.

ALL guys sleep around and yes especially Navy men because their stuck on ships for 6+ months at a time. The U.S. should mail sex to all active duty members in need. Heck put me in a box with a stamp on it, I'll go show my thanks.

False, every branch has it reputations as being male sluts. Because of wonderful women we call barracks bunnies. It's the actual guy who decides how he's gonna be, not the job he has.

Alot of people in the military are sexually active.......not just one branch. About them turning gay.....that I don't know about.
