you can't do it directly on your iPod. you have to right-click the playlist on iTunes, then click on DELETE.

You click on the playlist then right click on it and click delete. It will ask if you want to do it, and say yes. That will make it go away. Just make sure you don't have songs on there that aren't in your songs file. Because it will get permanently deleted.

Easy way to do it:
1. Click on the playlist.
2. Click delete on your keyboard (it's near the insert and end buttons).
