He's basically being beaten up constantly. He's at home right now, if he doesn't go back in 3 days he will be AWOL and it will mean expensive court costs and. If he goes back, we're told the hazing will get much worse and for whatever reason he will not be able to call home. So much for comraderie! What are his options?

Can someone (NOT ME) join the military if they have been convicted of a felony (burglary) and are currently on probation for 3 years? They stole beer out of someone's garage. The person is 19. They have earned their GED while on probation.

I am not asking for an opinion on the war ..........

I know there are a number of foreign countries that are supporting the American troops in Iraq. Though everyone says we are there alone. I know the number of those troops are not anywhere near compared to ours .

But while going over the list of countries Mongolia just struck me as ......(weird)? (strange)?

I personally think the people in Iraq were happy when Saddam was there. No Saddam and his regieme weren't neccessarily good.

I joined the DEP(Delayed Entry Program) back in June of 06. I graduated early and didn't know I was going to until November. I had a guaranteed job that was scheduled for July 07. Now I want to move it to tommorrow or as early as possible and only have a limited amount of job choices. Reserve After 18 mos.(Medical, Full-Time Support), or NAT. NAT(reserve program). Can you give your opinion or advice.

I saw quite a few old tops, squad leaders, chiefs, and gunnys getting put out in'67-68.
Some told me they saw too many of their kids shot up. They decided to go into field, set up, and try to keep people safe.
None of these noncoms were older than 40, some Korean experienced. Also, they challenged dangerous orders that would produce nothing but dead GIs, Marines, sailors, CG, and air force.
This with line and command officers.
Do any young people know this?

my son is going to join the army I think early next month, I don't know what job he picked, but do you think he would be in that 21,000 even if he picked a job like supplier?

I want to join the Military, but my fiance makes it seem that if i do they will leave me. I'm just wondering, when they say on the news that this solider has been to Iraq for 4 tours of duty, now he's going back for his 5th. A lady said, yesterday where i work that someone in her family is going back for his 7th time. And some people haven't gone once yet.

Do they send back those who have been over there before, because they know what its like?
