As u people now know the mongolian military is in Iraq, but heres this piece of news too...the mongolian military is involved in almost every UN peacekeeping mission tht there is. the mongolians have had people in Bosnia since the UN got there, africa, middle east, thailand, hell just about every where in asia. The mongolian military are everywhere. From my personal experiances with them, I trained back in august with them, in mongolia, these guys are studs!! They live basically in some of the highest places on earth and they dress in full battle gear and run up and down these rocky *** montains for like 10 miles every morning before they do anything else.

A alot of countries send troops to Iraq. The coalition had a lot of new names in there, including Poland and Japan. They were not in there for long haul, as the world expects us to do the heavy lifting but a lot of countries including former enemies sent detachments and some are still there amazingly.

Many countries on the list, including Mongolia, are former communist countries. Having experienced tyranny firsthand, they don't take affectionately to tyrants and are willing to help others gain freedom.
The list does show that there is much more support for the US than the US media ever acknowledges.

Appropriate. In the Middle Ages, Tamurlane, a Mongolian who was part of the Genghis Khan invasion, captured Baghdad. Marching the entire population outside the city walls, he executed every single one of them, all 800,000.

It probably means they owe the US so much money that they couldn't say no to sending some troops. I recently found out something else quite interesting on this subject. Italy got a contract to build helicopters for US military use in Iraq. Apparently the other EU countries aren't too thrilled about it either!

vanuatu was part of the "coalition of the willing" although I am not sure they sent anyone to fight, their population is only 205,000
the US has used some serious economic pressure and forgiven debts to get this many countries to join up.
what percentage of the troops is from the US, britian, and everyone else?
there are "contractors" there (mercenaries) that are working for themselves. they actually get paid a more reasonable wage for that kind of job than us soldiers do.
