To Julie S. we do not have a democracy, we have what is called a Republic. Look at the pledge of alligence " I pledge alligence to the Flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands........." Besides that everyone is entitled to there own opinion and beliefs if you dont like that then you can go live in a oppresive state/country.
