Military - January 2007

Aside from what the politicians think, and how they think they can win the war in Iraq, how do YOU think this war can be won? Here is your chance to tell the world (even the President) how this war can be won. Obviously, you must take into account our current state of affairs, including all the lives that have already been lost and the potential for more lives to be lost. This question is for a military solution alone. I will post a separate question for a political solution, if there could be one.

I know that the Iraqi's should fight their own battles. If we leave alqeda will take over then they will have the run of the country and they could really harm the U.S. then. I just don't think we should pull out of Iraq. fight on.Does anyone agree with me?

In my school district, we have many academies and learning centers apart of the FRHSD (freehold reginal high school district) one of the academies is NJROTC. I am the opposite of the girlygirl but not in the best shape. I am also not planing on joining the Navy. But it is good for leadership skills and self confidence and i REALLY need self confidence. It also looks fun but hard work. I already applied but if i get in should i accept the offer?

Imagine in the future ( not to far ahead though ) some sort of unforseen event causes world communication to be useless ( this could be man made or natural ). The following wars take place without any support being dispatched rapidly, airstrikes not available only basic equipment and rations available.

USA - Great Britain
USA - Canada
Canada - Great Britain
China - USA
Russia - USA
Russia - China
Great Britain - China
Russia - Great Britain

Take note all these wars are fought in a urban surrounding. A city or town in a country that both armys are not from. For example USA - Great Britain fought in Moscow.

Who do you think would win and would would win if all were to fight everybody for them selves.

Remember that no fancy equipment is available and only basics are used.

Will CAP boost my rank up to E-4 in the USCG like it does the USAF? Or does it only work with the airforce?

I mean he didnt, and peeps are all pissed about the war. If we pull out, against Bush's plan, what if there is a major terrorist attack on the US? And No, Bush isnt to blame.

Back than we believed that we had not business to fight the Vietkong. Now we are doing the same with Iraq? Have we gone nuts by all means? Does this mean we will go agains Iran if that idiot over there wont stop nuclear weapons?Or against that guy in North Corea? Will we go to Greece cause they bombed the Embassy over there? Is that what we are meant to do fight the war on foreign soil?

I am currently working on a design project to develop a new system of portable collapsable shelters used in the field by the military. I need your input (perferably if you have been deployed) on what elements I should include in this design. So far there will be bunks, tables and chairs for eating, bathrooms with showers, and a kitchen for eating something other than MRE's. Please tell me what it was you either HATED about your living arrangements or something you wish had been done differently. What was a common comfort that you were denied while in the field? I want my design to be something that would solve a problem rather than perpetuating an existing one. Be creative, be fun, but mostly be honest. I need all the help I can get and I'm doing it cause I'm a born and raised military brat. I have a lot of friends and family who are in (or have been in) and I'd love to design something that would make all their lives easier. Thanks for the input! :)

My bother has recently informed me and my family that he will be soon joining his 3rd armored cavalry division again in Iraq for his 3rd tour of duty. My loyalty is with him, but his reasoning is, " So that I will bring others back who may have never had a chance." I find that I would like to join the Army, but he has asked that I not to go, what do you think about him and i have respected his wishes?

Hi i really want to try to reach George W. Blush by email or adress if i can. I want to tell him to not send troups to Iraq!!! It just leads to more deaths and i have a family member in that war that i don't want to get hurt. If you can please help....i don't know if he'll read it or not but it is worth a shot.

Is the American mission in Iraq not doomed, because it was based on a flawed and spurious premise that Iraq posed an immediate threat through it's nonexistent WMD....?

The war that America is fighting now, is a by product of the lies that were used to motivate the American people into supporting the invasion of Iraq. Is adding more American combat troops to the problem akin to adding more gasoline to a fire in the hope it will burnout quicker...?

I think that my girl friend is psyco....at night she gets drunk, and will yell at nobody, her nieghbors think I am abusing her and I am not, but I cannot control her, then she blames me for every thing that goes wrong in her life because she cannot control her self.Her parents think negative things about me as well. I know that I am not perfect, but I do not treat her bad and she is just plain vebally abusive!!! Then if I leave I will get a call from her and she will try to coax me into going back (because I will feel guilty), I know she has a good side to her, but the emotional out bursts are too much for me, there is too much drama. What should I do?
