Let's see now, who were the Chicken Hawks? Those patriotic Americans who rushed off to hide when it was time to go to war? Carl Rove, **** Cheney, **** Rumsfeld, Knute Gingrich, Bill O'Reilly, William Kristol, Rush Limbaugh, Clarance Thomas, Phil Gramm, Pat Buchanan, George Will, Dan Quayle, and what did they all have in common. All conservative Republicans. Yes indeed bravery personified with those fellows. Not one who didn't squeek out of the draft.

The draft will not happen unless we go to war with China or something. The iraq war is tiny compared to the size of the military.

That said, I would report happily. Anyone who says no should leave the USA in my opinion.

Absolutely...no matter who happens to be president at the time. I notice a lot of folks referring to our troops as "Bush's military." I have no tolerance for that, as my husband has been active for over 17 years... He's all about serving the country, no matter who is president. And I would be too!

That depends on the conflict that the US is involved in. If it were like WW2 where the US was actually fighting terrorists then yes, I'd join. If it were a war for GWB like Iraq, then no thanks, I'll accept the jail time. I would rather go to jail for a couple of years than kill for another man's glory.

Yes I would. If only I hadn't hurt my back so seriously on my way to the processing. Dang, and I wanted to go so badly.

In all seriousness, yes.
