I think that my girl friend is psyco....at night she gets drunk, and will yell at nobody, her nieghbors think I am abusing her and I am not, but I cannot control her, then she blames me for every thing that goes wrong in her life because she cannot control her self. Her parents think negative things about me as well. I know that I am not perfect, but I do not treat her bad and she is just plain vebally abusive!!! Then if I leave I will get a call from her and she will try to coax me into going back (because I will feel guilty), I know she has a good side to her, but the emotional out bursts are too much for me, there is too much drama. What should I do?

it sounds as if your girlfriend is having trouble with herself, i.e. she might suffer from mental/emotional black-outs.
My clue for you is, even though I don't know your girlfriend, don't judge her a psycho until you have researched and analyzed her problems. What is her background, what problems has she been through and is she having? have you taken into consideration the possibility that she might be an alcoholic or in the process of becoming one?
I just visited friends of mine, a couple, and this man has become an alcoholic within the past 2 years. I knew him before, and he was different. But this time his reactions were all similar to what you describe above. it is typical of alcoholics to blame others for their own mistakes, they always need a reason to justify what went wrong in their lives.
You say she has a good side to her, so that is probably what she really is like and it is just the alc that changes her personality.
Don't throw your relationship away, help her, help her make a therapy or so.

You cannot have a relationship that's healthy with this woman.
Leave her and go on with your life - no need to feel guilty.
Life is not about self-abuse.
She will decide when she is ready to get help or not, and it will take years. Only her motivation and professional help can pave the way.

LEAVE. trust me. yeah, she has a problem...but people (no matter how much you'd like to think) don't change. She might clean up her drinking problem, but theres underlying things that won't change, no matter what you do. Stop giving into her guilt trips...shes someone who takes advantage of the relationship.. I had an ex like that...and its much better since I left him.

If you have to ask the group, and if it is such a strain on you then clearly you need to cut her out of your life like a cancer cell

Get out of there and as far away as you can before you find yourself in the back of a police cruiser accused of assault or abuse.
Run!

If she won't admit that she has a problem and get treatment. Leave her. Very quickly. She will ruin your life.

sounds like she has a drinking problem. i get mean when i drink. use to. i stopped. if she cares she will. if she doesn't you need to leave it will not get better until then. if you feel that bad try to get her help. but if she doesn't want help...there's no way of helping her. trust me.
