In my school district, we have many academies and learning centers apart of the FRHSD (freehold reginal high school district) one of the academies is NJROTC. I am the opposite of the girlygirl but not in the best shape. I am also not planing on joining the Navy. But it is good for leadership skills and self confidence and i REALLY need self confidence. It also looks fun but hard work. I already applied but if i get in should i accept the offer?

NavyMomSS i didnt mean for it to sound selfish. I want to go and i may end up joining the navy after talking to ppl who are in it. but its just i am not sure if it would be good for me since i have leg problems in both of my legs and i dont know if i would make it.

Isn't it enough that a Sailor gets up every morning, pulls on his boots, and then lays his life on the line for YOUR freedom? You want to take up space in a program that could educate a future Sailor that would be willing to DIE for you?

I've heard of selfish before, but this one really takes it!
