every one nowadays blames the americans for what they have done to iraq future
and i tell you this since i am an iraqi citizen , without a doubght the americans did a big favour of getting rid of sadam but we actually had this hidden problem inside each one of us and this was the whats called by the two types of muslims sonna and sheea and sadam actually started this matter by making the sheea as slaves and this blown up the whole thing when the americans invaded iraq trying to rescue iraq from his leadership and i feel it is not the americans to blame it is us we the muslims of iraq had to take the whole blams and they are now paying their debts for the hateness they had to each other , and i really do not blame iran-kuwai-saudia and syria for pouring their hate and anger on iraq simply becasue we fought against all our neighbour countries and we hated them all along and the whole blame should be on all of us for having such a hate against each other we the muslims of iraq .

This Story was seen on CNN, but there have been no updates. The blog http://washingtonscandal.blogspot.com/ seems to have a handle on the story. Apparently the truck was carrying powdered Uranium/yellow cake for further processing in the Nuclear fuel cycle...think Entergy, and the aging, failing reactors at Indian Point.

Does such and accident show it is only a matter of time before we have a serious accident at our aging nuclear plants, many owned and operated by Entergy. For instance, the Indian Point site has already leaked over 200,000 gallons of highly radioactive water into our ground water resources here in New York, and is contaminating the Hudson River...has the time come to decommission this antequated facilities? Is relicensing such frail facilities a bad idea?

The military is known to pull good pranks.
NCO send and Airman to get 100 yards of flight line. Airman knows the Joke and gets a truck and fills it with Asphalt and brings it back. NCO freaks out think the runway is detroyed. :)

Best military prank get 10 points. or list the ones you have gotten someone with. K9P, ball bearings for muffler, blinkerlight fuild, etc.

just wondering, do you think an armada of armed drones survieling the roads in iraq may help us win the war? I was thinking that civilians contracted in the US to fly the drones (while still in the US) would be able to spot and take out insurgents burying bombs in the road thus taking away the insurgents main method of fighting, forcing them to fight gun battles rather than bomb and run tactics resulting in a battle soldiers can fight. Do you thing this might help to turn the tides in our favor? Is it possible? Is it financially feesable? My thought of how it would be done is with Private Security Corporations produce an armada (large enough to watch roads traveled by Allied troops) of these aircraft and the pay civilians in the US to pilot them remotely.

With the stuff going on in Iraq, Israel, Iran, China, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela its seems that one of these countries is going to blow a gasket and start WWIII.

I don't think we are going to last that much, what do you think?

Do you think that these Marines are being sacrificed as scapegoats to appease worldwide critics of the Iraq war, being used to divert attention?

War is ugly, and many ugly things go by little noticed in the world community during a ugly entrenched war. Rules of engagement, as terrible as they are, usually prevail, and having Marines placed in a terrible situation under attack, so why is the Bush administration using them as scapegoats instead of defending them?

Why are they so willing to trash these Marine's careers like that?

Agree?

I have to wonder if I'm the only American who questions the rationale behind the daily retaliation for 911. How can we believe that the attack on America to be wrong when we continue to attack daily? How many innocent lives must be taken before we stand up and say 'enough'? Doesn't anyone realize that we will all be included when America is judged ? "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing", but I know that the majority of us struggle just to survive trying to count our blessings to save our sanity.
Yet, as a human being I am ashamed.
