just got done watching fly boys with a group of friends me and one friend got into a heated debate about the black German plane he said there was no plane that was all black the only one that ever painted his plain was the red boron now i could have sworn that
Hermann Göring did paint his plane black and was known to strafe downed pilots in ww1 because i know he told his German pilots to shoot pilots in parachutes in ww2 was there another pilot that flew a black plane

discipline and motivation, and yelling but the key word is "hands off". MCRD shouldnt be a place where little dick DI's needing to go on a power trip to compensate for what they are lacking. "hands off" is the key and also not depriving the recruit nourishment after a hard day of basic training. i bet most drill instructors dont even whip their own kids but have the nerve to beat up a recruit in their platoon. my question is for a law-abiding country, the USA, is this, why do the majority of u cover up for sadisitc drill instructors in the marine corps?

I would like to know, preferably from a Vietnam vet what to do here. My lover is a vet who had a very difficult time (as thousands and thousands did) for a lot of years when he came home. This was followed by financial problems and divorces etc...He has been through many years of therapy and has done remarkably well. He is generally very well adjusted, gentle and compassionate. I am exceedingly proud of him!

He is having a very hard time right now and is isolating himself for hours and hours at a time in his work room - just smoking and thinking, etc.. He is still kind and has shown no temper or anything like that, but I don't know how to help him. He has not offered to talk about it, though he knows that I would listen and be there for him.

Our love life has come to a halt over the last eight days and he is staying up all night, just chain smoking, working on little projects, etc.. For the last couple of nights I've gone out to his work room in lingerie at midnight

The Shiaa are united and belong to greater Iran (Persia). The Sunni are similar to the Chieftans in Afghanistan -- not united! However, these are the moderates and would kick out alQueda if we would help them unite as a nation.

I know many, many men, and women, that i think they're children and themselves, would love to be home for Christmas. They have a big chance of dying out there, fighting, and they want to come home.
Thank you.

I have looked everywhere in the Media (Newspapers, TV, etc) and I can not find this War so many are speaking about. The only thing I have found is Tom DeLay and a group of Right Wingers crying over other religions wanting equal freedom to display their religious icons in public. And Rush Limbaugh crying over a cross that was taken down in S Calif.

Where is this WAR on Christmas/Christians in a country that is damn near 90% Christian????????? Are you all fighting with one another? Blaming the ACLU is hysterical as many of them claim to be Christian as well.

my opinion is NO!. these man and women put thier lives in front lines for us, as well as the people were suppose be fighting with. they protect both sides. for our own USA to prosecute our soldiers is wrong. there could be exceptions in some cases. some of these things were meant to happen. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, past and present.

If so, thank you. I appreciate the sacrifice you are making so that I can enjoy a peaceful Chistmas celebration with my loved ones. I pray for your safety, and that you have a Merry Chritmas despite the distance from home. Thanks

Recent comment from a prominent Al-Quida figure that US should negotiate with them creates a wonderful opportunity to integrate extremist Islamic elements into democratic process. Shouldn't the UN mediate such a process?

I'm Graduating basic at Ft. Jackson this January. going to AIT in Ft Lee after that. Has anyone been there who can tell me what it will be like? Are different companies treated better than others? Like here in Ft. Jackson our company is the group with a bunch of slackers and punks so we get smoked alot, while other companies get more freedom. Is it like that there too? Also, can we have cell phones at ait to use on the weekends, and after the training day? What about laptops? Also, how do you find out if you qualify for the EarmyU laptop?
