Yes he is.
The same person who brought us WMD bogus info and sold that to get into a war over oil, is sending more troops soon.

He never said he'd "follow" the ISG report recommendations, only that he'd consider them. And "run away" is a policy of cowardice and defeat and ignores how disastrous such a limp-wrist action would be upon the rest of the world.

What Bush is doing is what every intelligent wartime leader does - adapts to a changing environment. Bush is also not foolish enough to think he's a military genius, so he relies heavily upon the opinions of people who have spent whole lifetimes in the military.

The course is still victory and a free Iraq. That's worth fighting for, don't you think?

Increasing troops will supposedly help supress the sectarian violence.

Since the beginning of time, the only way to control the tribal violence in Iraq has been through use of The Sword.

But, there are other reasons as to why he wants to expand the military - namely for when battle with Iran occurs.

World war three will happen soon.

our commander has authorized troop deployments to Iraq,i belive 25,000 or more will be deployed.
I belive he should have sent in more during the invasion, that way we would have been able to pursue the talibal while they were a weak point. Also,i would have sent troops into pakistan because that's where most of those SOB's are hidding.
just like in vietnam, can't pursue over the border.

The report actually agreed that more troops were necessary, the means to the end. Not sure where you are going with that..
