If so, thank you. I appreciate the sacrifice you are making so that I can enjoy a peaceful Chistmas celebration with my loved ones. I pray for your safety, and that you have a Merry Chritmas despite the distance from home. Thanks

I was, about 1 month ago. Please, please, please stop praying for my and other soldiers safety. I appreciated it for about 5 months when this thing first started, but now it has become a fashion trend. This nation feels so guilty about how it treated Vietnam soldiers, that now we want to approach pure strangers and hug them saying thanks for what we do. STOP IT! I do what I do for myself and my family. When I get home, I just want to be home with them.

Oh, and I was an atheist in a fox hole for an entire year. I don't need your prayers, and you'd be surprised how many others don't either.

Merry Christmas
