It seems that China and Russia are going to render any UN efforts to curb Kim Jong Il nuclear proliferation ineffective. The United States has warned that a nuclear armed N. Korea would be unacceptable, and it looks like Korea may get away with this if the United States continues to depend on the UN to resolve this issue. Should the United States take it's own measures? I don't mean an invasion. I mean a punitive strike to destroy N. Korea's nuclear facilities. We told them not to do it, the whole world told them not to do it. Will we and should we act alone if the UN continues to be ineffective?

My fiance and I are planning on getting married. He is stationed half way around the world and I amhere with him. The problem that I am having is do we get married out here so the benefits kick in faster, which would make it easier on the both of us or do we wait until we get back to the states, so our families can be there for the ceremony? Either way we're going to get married it's just a matter of when and who will be in attendance.

We now know for sure North Korea has WMD which has been suspected. Now we invaded Iraq because Bush claimed they had WMD so, For you Bush lovers out there, what next? Shall we wait until they come after us fearing invasion from the USA or will Bush just run from confrontation with Kim Jong as he did Bin Laden?

Does anyone think that the recent N.Korean nuclear tests are the beginning of a world wide nuclear showdown??. Will it be the start of a new arms race?? Is this the start of WW3?? If not, how should the world act in order to calm fears over this issue??

I hear people talk all the time about how they support US troops. That's all well and good; but if you really want to support the troops, write your Congressman/woman and demand a targetted pay raise for E-4's and below. I'm an active-duty sergeant and it bothers me how much is asked of my soldiers versus how little they are compensated. If you really want to support them, how about paying them?

"Cutting the pie" as American SWAT units call it, is not advisable using a bullpup when turning a corner towards your strong side, since a large part of the body will potentially be exposed to enemy fire. Normally, users of conventionally-arranged rifles such as the AR15 family transition the weapon to the weak shoulder in order to do this, but shoulder transitioning during combat isn't possible with bullpups because the ejection port would be oriented towards the user's face.

I have heard of a technique whereby the bullpup user can twist his/her body in order to expose less body area to enemy fire while turning a corner towards the strong side, while still maintaining a good sight picture. I am, however, unfamiliar with the specific details of this technique. How exactly is the body twisted, and how is the sight picture preserved?

If anyone knows of any other techniques for rounding strong-side corners using bullupup rifles, I am very interested to hear about them.
