I don't agree with the War they are fighting, but I support our boys to the hilt, and have the highest respect for their bravery. But now is the time to pull out, even the Head of the British Army is saying the same.

As a former Royal Marines Officer my support is 100% for the soldiers doing a hard job in a hard place. As every soldier will know the regiment is ingrained in us and we bleed regimental colours.

The soldiers I have no problem with, the retards who sent them there and then abandon them when they return are the ones I have my problems with.

It hapenned after the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War I and it is hapenning again now. Injured British soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are being treated in NHS hospitals. A lot of them come back after a tour only to find that they are surplus to rquirement because the effin politicians are trying to balance their books.

Sometimes I wonder if Guy Faukes didn't have the right idea.

Frank thank you, finally a Brit that is supporting use military types. not many of the British will back you there unfortunately, i got back and went home to my family only to have 3 of the neighbours have a go at me for what the governments have decided, but when you ask them as to why they feel that way it's the same thing again and again that you see on the press. they don't hear about the good we are doing or the school's, hospitals, water, food even electricity we are getting to these people. only the deaths. thank you for your support, it is appreciated by use the military British, American, Australian, Canadian, all of use thank you.

Blind support breeds dictatorship. In any case, you should support the soldiers, and not the government or its invasion.

Edit:
Besides, if you oppose the government because you feel the troops are putting their lives on the line for an unjust cause, then that's a way of "supporting the troops" too. Perhaps even more so than just saying you support them and not wondering about the reasons they are fighting for or why are they being payed so little when compared to the congressmen that sent them there.

I agree, there is too much Yank bashing. We are allies after all. We wish all our boys Brits and Yanks a safe tour of duty.

People have a problem with your government. The military represent and carry out their orders that's why it is important to have a just leadership. They r on the front line which means they r to be shot at. So f**k them!
