i need to roll my navy neckerchief, but im having a tough time, i cant keep it taut, its becoming to big, and coming unfolded etc. is there anything you can tell me that can help me out?

First iron it flat... Second fold the neckerchief into a triangle. Third get a couple quarters and put them on the middle tip. Have a couple buddies hold the two ends and have them pull them tight. Then roll away and when its rolled use a piece of tape (any kind) to secure it. Now you have a properly rolled neckerchief and a good weapon while on liberty.. Quarters are an excellent weapon... LOL

OK to start lay out the neckerchief and fold it over corner to Conner having it look like a wide v. Use a pencil at the center and roll the necker around it until you get it going then take it out . When you fold it over iron it so that the seem where it is folded and will one side about a half inch difference facing up. Then roll on. Wow I have been out for almost 15 years and still remember how good luck and best wishes.

Pencil to get it started, like the previous guy said, then when it's rolled, tape it all the around with heavy dutymasking tape in the center of the roll(it will be hidden under the flap). use a Sharpie to color the tape black. My DH only unfolded his when it got washed(maybe twice in his 4 years enlisted). in fact when he gave it away to some body when he Comissioned, it was still rolled!.

ok you have to calm down first of all. Dont make it seem like a huge scary thing , you know him you like him he likes you just remember that. You wont mess it up just make sure theres conversation the whole time and theres nothing to worrie about. when you talk stare in his eyes and dont play with your phone or something like that make sure you have your 100% full attention on him. the hugging kissing and hand holding comes natural youll be fine good luck!
