John sang the ultimate anti-war song in "Imagine".
Imagine how he would see the world today.
But then again, he was killed by the bullet of a USA fame obsessed crazed "fan" who obsessed about him and wanted the fame?
Maybe John wouldnt see much difference in todays climate?

money being spent on military is because of phony wars and to
protect Bush with large military. You know they are not doing
anything for the people. Only for Halliburton, Exxon and Shell.

Ok i just moved here to america from england and dont understained something. Please dont get upset and be sarcastic. But why are so many people against the war in iraq.

I mean things could definitly be going better over there but to say the war is unjust, i dont get. People say we should go and fight in afgainistain wear the real war on terror is. But in iraq we are going after more terrorists than in afgainistain.

And why are we giving our military more rules of war giving the enamy more rights, while the enemy uses no rules of war killing and brutaly tourtering then executing the captured.

I mean i dont believe in an eye for an eye we have to be better than that, but if some one kicks you in the balls, you fight back.

An i get we went there for another reason, but now that were are fighting terror shouldnt we be more willing to fight.

Now please explain this to me, maybe im completly wrong and im new to this issue.

Basically I'm a 100% healthy 19 year old... but I still have a question or two about MEPS...

When i was 16 I was playing football and got kicked in the face, and knocked a tooth out. No big deal, but I also had a small hairline crack in the bone that hold your bottom four front teeth. I didn't have surgery or anything, as I said it was no big deal, they put a wire to hold my teeth in for a week or two, and that was it. My recruiter for the Air National Guard said that "doesn't really count," for the question that asks if I've ever "had a broken bone or hairline crack." I answered no just to make him happy, but since i didn't enlist, should I tell him I want to change it? Will this disqualify me at MEPS? Honestly what teenager never broke a bone?

And another problem... this one is so stupid its funny... Also when I was 16 or so, I had attended a "family counseling," session with my dad (long story.) However, I only went once, and i I didn't have to go, i.e. I wasn't ordered or any

My heart goes out to any soldier that is putting his life on the line. I am not against the war, nor necessarily for it, I know that it had to be done. But, now with so many suicide type of situations that are hard to deal with, they know where you are, but you do not know where they are, how can you fight this kind of war? I know that they are scumbags, but this is so different from other wars. Thanks so much, God bless you.

He was discharged 2 years ago, I can't get a straight answer about whether it was honorable or dishonorable, but I need to find out because he is in some health trouble and I need to get him benefits. He has mental illness and is treated horribly, which angers me to no end. If he had cancer no one would treat him this way. His illness is no less serious and devastating!

So, anyone know about veteran's benefits? How long did he have to serve? He was active duty overseas, platoon commander, etc. Discharged for mental health reasons.....
