John sang the ultimate anti-war song in "Imagine".
Imagine how he would see the world today.
But then again, he was killed by the bullet of a USA fame obsessed crazed "fan" who obsessed about him and wanted the fame?
Maybe John wouldnt see much difference in todays climate?

There's a saying:
"The USA gave us Elvis, and we loved him. We gave the USA John Lennon, and they shot him."

Hey maybe it really was friendly fire. He actually meant to shoot yoko but hit the wrong target. Yeah he would see alot of difference in todays climate. The sort of things he protested and sung about has got worse, big multi corporations re getting richer with no thought to the planet and all its inhabitants. And what do you expect from a country that has a mentality to vote in George Bush twice!

I'm thinking maybe the friendly bit is to do with the outcome of the enquiry into american troops blowing up media jeeps in Iraq.

John must be turning in his grave to witness the atrocities in the middle east right now. He for one would of opposed American intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan, so much so he'd of written more than a protest song, he'd of chained himself to the railings of Buckingham Palace or something equally as radical, just because he was a believer in humanity not a destroyer of human life, like most men.

He wasn't a victim of friendly fire. The term friendly fire would mean it was an accident. I think we did the Pinko-commie scumbag on purpose. Think about it. The CIA and the FBI ran themselves unchecked for years. Whose to say they didn't have something to do with it way back when?

No, John Lennon misplaced pastime in working with something of the gang. So did George Harrison, genuinely. I haven't any thought what John observed in Yoko, yet i've got on no account blamed her for the ruin-up of The Beatles. They have been evolving as artists, and that they only have been given to a factor the place they have been evolving previous one yet another's pastimes. John insisted on having Yoko around and working along with her because of fact he observed them as one unit, even however that aggravated something of the gang. After The Beatles had broken up i think it become Yoko who inspired John to patch issues up with Paul.
