UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!!!! THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE MARINES!! SEMPER FIDELIS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY USMC: NOVEMBER 10, From the halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli' ,

We fight our countrys battles In the air', on land, and sea.

First to fight for right and freedom , And to keep our honor clean,

We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marines.
Our flags unfurl'd to every breeze From dawn to setting sun';

We have fought in every clime and place Where we could take a gun.

In the snow of far-off northern lands And in sunny tropic scenes,

You will find us always on the job - The United States Marines.
Here's health to you and to our Corps Which we are proud to serve;

In many a strife we've fought for life And never lost our nerve.

If the Army and the Navy Ever gaze on Heaven's scenes,

They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines.

Ok first off, don't listen to the people that are just saying Marine Corps or Semper - Fi. There are Pros and Cons in each branch. You should try to do some re-search on each branch. See which one fits you the best. For in-stints, The Marine Corps has 6-8 Moths Deployments While the Army has 12-15 Month long Deployments. The Army has more Enlistment Bonuses And Re-Enlistment Bonuses. The Army also has all of these Schools like Airborne School, Ranger School, Air Assault School. There is a whole lot other stuff you have to look into. Of Course everyone will say go Marine Corps but thats because theyre Gung Ho. I have respect for both branches.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of being in Afghanistan or Iraq waiting for a random encounter with death from a bomb or death squad. Also I don't know if I like the fact that the enemy doesn't wear a uniform, and looks like everyone else. However I do respect the people who are there, because they have some real guts.

I'd join the Marines if they'd let me! Unfortunately they don't allow ex-cons. One brother and one cousin are over in Iraq in the Corps and I wish I could be by their sides. Bless the United States Marines!

WE STOLE THE EAGLE FROM THE AIR FORCE, THE ANCHOR FROM THE NAVY AND THE ROPE FROM THE ARMY.
ON THE SEVENTH DAY WHILE GOD RESTED, WE OVERRAN HIS PERIMETER, STOLE THE GLOBE AND WE'VE BEEN RUNNING THE WHOLE SHOW EVER SINCE.
