Basically I'm a 100% healthy 19 year old... but I still have a question or two about MEPS...

When i was 16 I was playing football and got kicked in the face, and knocked a tooth out. No big deal, but I also had a small hairline crack in the bone that hold your bottom four front teeth. I didn't have surgery or anything, as I said it was no big deal, they put a wire to hold my teeth in for a week or two, and that was it. My recruiter for the Air National Guard said that "doesn't really count," for the question that asks if I've ever "had a broken bone or hairline crack." I answered no just to make him happy, but since i didn't enlist, should I tell him I want to change it? Will this disqualify me at MEPS? Honestly what teenager never broke a bone?

And another problem... this one is so stupid its funny... Also when I was 16 or so, I had attended a "family counseling," session with my dad (long story.) However, I only went once, and i I didn't have to go, i.e. I wasn't ordered or any

For your first situtation dealing with the hairline fracture question... It is best to not lie at MEPS. Having a hairline fracture will not disqualify you, but if for some reason you decide while in the military to volunteer for some elite or special groups they could go back into your history and find this.. You would still probably not get in much trouble but they may decide that you aren't the most honest person. You will go to MEPS again for sure before you ship off to bootcamp and that is the time to throw that in.
For your second issue... I wouldn't worry about it because as you said yourself... you were not required to attend...
One last note.. not all recruiters have "your" best interests in mind.. remember they have a job to do also

If you think that the hairline was not worth bringing up then don't worry about it, they are mainly looking for major injuries anyway. It's not lying you are just holding back unnecessary information. As for the counseling, if YOU were not ordered by a doctor to go then it does not count. None of this will disqualify you from MEPS, just remember that once you go through the process to them these injuries and the counseling never happened. I am in the USAF and have been through all the things MEPS requires 3 times.

And don't listen to the raging MORON that answered before me.

I've never had a broken bone.

It's best to tell MEPS everything they need to know. A bone fracture your were treated for is something they need to know. A one-time counseling session you were not required to attend, no.

The militarys policy of don't ask don't tell applies here too. Your recruiter is correct. Answer no to any of these generalized questions. Just don't let MEPS tell you if you lie your going to prison and fined up the ***. Its not going to happen. I was in a severe car accident, busted up my face and fractured three ribs, I just failed to mention any of it to MEPS. No other questions where asked.
Just listen to your recruiter, they aren't the lying scum of the earth salesman the liberal tree hugging hippies make them out to be.......Good luck.........

Neither condition will disqualify you from service, but it is better to disclose both in your MEPS physical and paperwork, that way if you have problems in the future with your teeth or jaw, they can't say you lied on your enlistment paperwork and separate you for fradulent or erroneous enlistment.

Honestly what teenager never broke a bone?
- Answer : This teenager, you dipshit. Sorry to ruin your ******* rhetorical question, but I've been in a severe car wreck and didn't break or fracture a single thing. Anymore questions?

You'd be perfect for the government - being a liar and all.
