??? Do mean "before" the revolutionary war, or do you mean why did the U.S. go to war with the British in the war of 1812???

I don't understand your question I'm sorry I thought the Revolutionary war was the war against the British There was the war of 1812 but that was years later and a lot of reasons behind it

The "United States of America" went to war with Briton in 1812 because the British navy was impressing American sailors into service for Briton. That was the war's main catalyst.

They were getting very sick on how they were treated by the British, they had to house military units and taxations without representation.. and Numerous things..
