You see,I think the troops are very brave for risking their lives to protect us,but I also think this war just can't be justified and that the should get out of there. Can I possibly have two conflicting thoughts?

we are not accomplishing anything new in Iraq...no point being there. they don't want us there and we haven't done anything useful in several months. if they need a civil war, fine. i believe we should pull out and let them figure things out on their own. what do you guys think?

It's been almost 5 months since the DWI...Many of the senior NCOs believe I should leave the military. Many of my civilian friends say I should fight it. My peers in the Army called me a "quitter". My BN Commander and CO say I should make a rebuttal statement of some sort...but it's too late to have one done. My lawyer has sent a letter to Virginia telling the Army not to do anything with my resignation until my case in the civilian courts are over. I still am not quite sure what to do? If I do not resign, I will be pressured to leave. If I do leave, I will leave with a General Discharge under honorable conditions. The paperwork is on the General's desk for approval...what do I do??? Stay and fight or go...?

im only 13 years old so dont make fun of me because i dont know what this stuff is.....

I know i am only 13 and really should not be worring about my future job/life, but i always wanted to be Security Forces Officer in the AirForce (http://www.airforce.com/careers/job.php?catg_id=1&sub_catg_id=2&af_job_id=28 )

now i know i would have to go to the Airforce acadamy and all that jazz, but after i would garduate do i absoultly have to go on active duty? (and what exatly is active duty anyway...would i have to go to war? cause like i dont want to die cause that would be pretty gay)

so what whould the steps be for me to be a Security Forces Officer?

like would i even be able to have a family if im on active duty?

this is just one of those "what if" qustions....please do not be rude, and sorry if i spelled anything wrong, dont make fun of me...thank you!!

Two questions:

Why did Bush pull our US forces out of Saudi Arabia after 9/11?

IMO, the terrorists hatred of us is in part fueled by our troop presence in the Middle East, so if we left Iraq, would the terrorists leave Iraq?

No flaming, this is a provacation for some real dialogue.

Based on what you believe Bush's stated Mission in Iraq is today, when do you think it will be "Mission Accomplished"? I know he already said Mission Accomplished once, but obviously that was that other Mission.

All tolled in George W. Bush's wars, how many American troops have now been murdered?

Give Iraq one more year to stand up for themselves and resolve their own security issues. Let them kill each other in a civil war if that's the route they prefer to take.

Bring our troops home and have them protect our borders, ports, powerplants, food supply and general infrastructure.
