Based on what you believe Bush's stated Mission in Iraq is today, when do you think it will be "Mission Accomplished"? I know he already said Mission Accomplished once, but obviously that was that other Mission.

The real mission is to keep the arabic people upset. This continues the chaos and fighting, guaranteeing Bush a constant war, so that he can continue his mission of terrifying the American people into giving up all of their rights and appointing him King George or something. We will never leave Iraq or the Middle East until we get a decent president in office...which will require the spread of democracy TO the US!
Al'Quaida was not in Iraq until after we took out Saddam Hussein. The people the Bush administration is calling "terrorists" are simply people fighting to get rid of a terroristic occupying force that has completely destroyed their country and installed a fascist Islamic Republic (and installed a fascist dictatorship before that...never forget that it was when Nixon was president and Bush Sr was head of the CIA that Saddam was installed as dictator, overthrowing a democracy!
Why can't we get some democracy here in America? We have a "president" that wasn't voted into office either time, and conservatives are still fighting the idea of a verifyable election process! Liberals have been working to get voter-verified, paper-trail leaving election system since before 2000, but the Republicans want nothing to do with it. This proves beyond a shadow of doubt that Republicans support having a fascist dictatorship in America!

I am thinking the military mission in Iraq is to rescue the Bush Administration from its flawed vision and the consequences of its criminal invasion. Not going to happen either.

To maintain sustained operations, mostly defences, until the Iraq government can effectively control their country.
I am hoping within 24 months. But we won't know until a new President comes into office. Bush will not pull out until the job is done.

well, during the vietnam war somebody asked Moshe Dayan (for those who studied history) what the US had to do to win. He answered that to win, the US had to eliminate every single guerilla, whereas for the guerillas to win they just had to not get 100% eliminated. Same deal in Iraq, unfortunately for the US.

There is no game plan. It is all a vi-sad to make Bush look good. Our solders are sitting duck and Bush doesn't give a flip about the American people.

The mission now is to help them rebuild their infrastructure & give them added security to get their newly elected government a chance to take hold. This has never been a secret.

To see that a working, independent government is functioning with security forces able to provide ADEQUATE protection of same. Then withdraw MOST of our armed forces. Here is the one the libertards do not seem to be able to grasp-----WHEN THE ABOVE IS DONE. No damned time table. The difficulty is so great that it would be impossible and UNWISE to set a time.
