Hello, I'm a HUGE war movie fan. Anyone got any recommendations of war or anti-war movies that are GOOD? Other than: Band of brothers (that was the best), Platoon, Saving private Ryan, Enermy at the gate, Gallipoli and a bridge too far?

By the way, did any of you watch 'grave of the fire flies'? Although it's animated and an anti-war movie, it made me cry at the end. If you haven't seen it, I recomment you to watch it.

Is it possible for me to apply for the Army Reserve in the ADF (Australian Defence Force) while I'm in year 11 or 12? If so, can I still stay at school (while doing part time Army) and complete my HSC (higher school certificate)?

Instead of fighting and killing in war, countries should settle issues by playing kickball. War is childish, we must move on to more sophisticated ways to settle disagreements... like kickball. (Or maybe even Four Squares.) There would be less death, and there would probably be a waiting list to get into armies. I know I'd join.

Of course all countries won't agree on this until they see all the fun the rest of the world is having with these "wars."

...it has to be the most-used term on every form of media and its what we are fighting against correct? .. i mean, the President himself told us thats who we are fighting right? so how could it not be legitamate *puke ... ok show me some pics of the big terrorist base and give me a list of names or even a number of PROVEN actual terrorists that we have now incarcerated ... ok, im pretty sure we never found the actual hidden big base ... just some little farm villages we blew up reminecent of vietnam ... and we claim to have captured how many names of known terrorists? 10? maybe? .... but yet we have militarized and taken over half of the middle east killing hundreds of thousands of civilians and it looks like we want to take over the rest .... so, is there somthing wrong with this picture of "terrorists" or what? ... and dont give me some sly remark about i'll be sorry when they strike again ... the question is who are we talking about and truthfully im not worried about islamic peopl

Iraq is a nation holding terrorists. There is nothing illegal about the iraq war. George W Bush is a saint like president. He is a very strong leader. Saddam has links to Al Qaeda there is proof and we found gas weapons in iraq making the war 100% legal.

I was in San Antonio this weekend where there were lots of Air Force members walking around. They were all wearing the same clothes and I noticed all of them who wore glasses were wearing the same ones. They were big and round and thick and tortise-shell like. Does anyone know why they all wear the same glasses and why they're so odd looking?
