If you pass the physical to get in, you meet the minimum requirements at the beginning of basic training. While you are going through basic, you will receive lots of exercise, and will be tested at various points throughout, and if you are behind, they will help you get to a passing level.
You really don't need to worry about the physical fitness part of basic. That is the easiest part of it. I was never very fit, and could not pass when I first went to basic, but had absolutely no problems by the end.

Do you mean the standards required to graduate from Basic? If so, don't worry. One of the purposes of Basic training is to get you into shape so you'll meet those guidlines. If you mean the bare minimum to be admitted to boot camp.............. No offense honestly, but the minimum for admittance to basic are incredibly easy. For the Army, I think it was something like 13 pushups, 5 situps. I'd imagine if one struggles to meet that, they'll keep you at the reception battalion for a bit longer, doing calisthenics till you were able.

Trust me thats what basic training is for to get you in shape and familiar with there way of doing things. I was in the AF and would recomend it, loved San Antonio.I would suggest learning evey thing you can about the history, know how to tell the ranks, who to salute.Score as high on your enty exam as possible it opens a lot of doors.Na matter what branch of service you choose dont believe everything the recruiter tells you,for example they dont have a quota to meet for new enlistees they do Good luck! youll do just fine.

all you really have to worry about is making weight and Body fat standards. If you don't make those, you don't ship. there will be a preliminary Physical Fitness test done at Boot camp to determine your fitness levels. if you fall short of the minimum required, you will receive extra instruction and time to get those up to par.

once you first arrive on your coaching battalion, you will could undergo reception. In reception you will do a pt try. in case you could no longer bypass they placed you in a platoon of trainees who do pt all day till you bypass. I exceedingly doubt all of us gets despatched abode like the others mentioned. the army desires everybody they are in a position to get. BTW, the pt in common is hassle-free, quite often calisthenics and stretching. The actual events that get you in shape are the hours upon hours of being "smoked" interior the sand pit and evey the place else the drill sergeants deem mandatory. you have made the large determination and you're able to guy up and be waiting to bypass the try formerly you pass. it will make your life much less confusing and incredibly much less annoying. Congrats on your determination to connect.

i can only speak from air force experience. i dont remember them recycling anyone out for fitness. i know u had to run the 1.5 in under 15. whats your run time? they might keep you around longer, ie, ur flight graduates and u get left back until youve basically convinced them youll never pass a pt test. ive been enlisted 6 years, and they separate guys all the time for consistently failing pt tests .its no joke. dont join up till u can run 1.5 miles in under 15 minutes.
