Absolutely nothing(as the song goes) I would not consider myself to be politically informed so I suppose I cant really make an educated comment on the topic. The wars in the middle east just seem so pointless to me. People will die as a result and not much will be achieved. What are your opinions?

He had two war supporter decals on his vehicle. One for "I love Bush" and the other "I support the troops". All I did was ask him to send his two sons ( 20 and 22 years old ) to the war to make Bush proud. The father looked at me like he had crap in his mouth. Why did he look at me like that? I thought he supported the war? Why the hard looks?

No matter the time, place, or mood my boyfriend can always make me laugh and smile. He always jokes around and makes whoever he is around feel good. Being in such a serious environment will that change? I know it makes them bigger and stronger men withe different respects than before, but will he still goof around and be the same man he was when he left?

just like Vietnam and WWII, all should be part of a conflict, if this war of choice is legit why don't we stop piddling around and start with the Bush twins...war would be over by Friday

for you war hawks, already did my time, 3 combat rotations, 3 expeditions to middle east, life spent mech. inf and cavalry

actually with Iran and Venezuela getting all cozy, looks like we spent our forces energy in a place that didn't threaten us and let these guys (also world leaders in oil production) become strong enough to threaten oil to be sold in Euros and jack up our oil prices again. Notice the price went down recently....see how high oil prices bankrupts the US..and you wonder what the strategy is here..

not that hidden...not at all Hegemony. what a concept

It is with Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsing President Bush. One of the captions in this commercial is there are 130,000 US troops in Iraq. Which made me wonder how many people are in a troop. Would that be People in a troop x Troops in Iraq = Total US Soldiers in Iraq? Or is a troop considered on single soldier?

I am unsure here.

After the seizure of the US embassy in Tehran, in November 1979, Iran was public enemy number one; only a few years later, emissaries of Washington were selling arms to the Iranian mullahs and using the proceeds to finance a guerrilla war against the new adversary, the Sandanistas of Nicaragua - while both Britain and the USA were helping Saddam Hussein prosecute his own battles against the Iranians.

Washington applauded Saddams invasion of Iran in September 1980, which precipitated a decade of war, yet when he tried the same trick in Kuwait then years later, the full might of Nato was mobilised against `the Hitler of the Gulf`.

The declared purpose of GW Bushs Afghan war was to destroy Al Qaeda and the Taleban and to install a regime repecting womens rights and promote secular education. Yet throughout the 1980s Reagan offered financial and political support to fundamentalists whose sole wish was to unseat such a Govt.

The nuclear bomb I drop about a quarter of a mile from your residence did not go off so I located it, did a halo jump ditch the jet. I got the cover off the bomb believe it or not I found a defective pyrotenic fuse it did not set off the TNT. This the question how do I rig another fuse on it with out going to the pyrotenic fuse store keep in mine this I only brought enough money with me for lunch so dont tell me to go out and buy a bunch of expensive stuff. I need enough time to make a safe get away with the improvise fuse while you take the heat playing with your PC.
