War makes strange bedfellows. That was then, this is now.Look at Ezekial 28:25. The latter part of verse 25 "Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob."
There is alot of scripture claiming Israel as a nation.
Genesis 12:5, Exodus 19:4-6, Deuteronomy 29:1, Numbers 2:2, Joshua 3:10, 1 Samuel 4:19-22, 2 Samuel 2:12, 1 KIngs 1:1, 1 Kings 12:20, Matthew 1:1, Mark 1:2, Luke 13:29, Acts 7:2,Romans 3:2.
Abrahams's story is told in Genesis 11-25. Abraham is the father of the Jewish nation.
The truth is, this is a battle between 2 families. God promised Abraham a son. Sarah, Abrahams wife, didn't believe God could give them a son, so she told Abraham to have a child with her maidservant , Hagar. Hagar had a son, Ishmael(where the
Arab nation came from/Islam. But that was not the son that God had promised. 13 years later, Sarah, Abrahams wife, at the age of 90 became pregnant and had Isaac(this is who God passed His covenant to as Abrahams decendant). Isaacs son was Jacob. So you have the Jewish nation and the nation of Islam.
Also the land that was promised to Abraham, the land of Israel, it's boundaries are described in detail in Numbers 34:1-12.

Sided with Iraq because of the issues in the 60's & 70's with Iran.
Not the Russians in Afganland, that helped end the cold war with Russia buy straining thier already weak economy and it finally collapsed later on. Then of course you help someone then they turn on you. Iraq invaded Kuwait thinking it was alright and the US would probably go with it. Wrong, now Saddam thinks we turned are backs on him. Israeel was a country a long time ago read an old map, thats if you can read.

During the Iraq/Iran war in the 1980s which was started by Saddam Hussein invading Iran, the US supported Saddam Hussein by supplying him with satellite pictures of Iranian troop movements and chemicals for making poisonous gas and biological weapons; Donald Rumsfeld was closely associated with this which is why the US was so certain that Saddam still had weapons of mass destruction in 2003.
During that war Sadam used massive amounts of mustard gas and nerve gas against the Iranians and the Iraqi population in places such as Halubja who were suspected of disloyalty.
The US government did not protest about this.
At the same time that they were supporting Iraq, the US was supplying the Iranians with weapons through the covert activities of Colonel Oliver North.
During the russian invasion of Afghanistan the arab countries sent thousands of men to fight the russians.
One of them was Osama bin Laden who set up a training camp in Peshawar called Al Qaeda ( the base)
These people were supplied with weapons by the Reagan regime including 1000 Stinger surface to air missiles to shoot down russian aircraft. 500 of this missiles are still unaccounted for and are a threat to all air travellers.
On the matter of Israel- the Zionist jews simply stole their country from the arabs and no amount of biblical references or tribal history can change that fact.

Wrong.. the people were Israelites.. going to the promised land. They found it and have had to battle for it ever since. Named after one of their own. The word in itself should be an explanation to you. Ites.. meaning from that location. In this case, the promised land. Instead of insulting people, why don't you be a bit more thorough and understand what you are reading?
Further, if you are into religious interpretation, one must also look at the larger picture and see (today) why this was the chosen land. For all intents and purposes, it was to fulfill prophecy. And the prophecy continues to be fulfilled, more stringently on a daily basis. All one has to do is watch and see it.

In order......Iraq (perceived lesser of two evils), Afghanistan (pre-taliban in the middle of the cold war), to "gve back" the Land to the Jews (mostly out of the guilt of allowing the Haulacaust), because they were a people group chosen by God (other verses refer to them as the nation of Israel), what truth is there in these questions?
