I only a have second so here is garrison (not in the field) life.
0630-0730 PT
0730-0900 Breakfast and Personal Hygiene
0900-1130 Work
1130-1300 Lunch
1300-1700 Work
The lunch break is an hour and a half which is enormous by many standards but you are expected to take care of family and personal business and do a bunch of stuff during that lunch hour. Everything on post opens and closes during your work day and if you get off of work at 1700 everything is already closed. Depending on your MOS, duty location, field trianing, etc. this day can change a lot for better or worse. Good Luck.

The first thing you will notice is that army is not a democracy. Its very important that you follow any order and do anything asked for. That is if your not an nco or an officer. Then you got more to decide but also more demands to be a good leader. Whats life is like much depends on what you do for the moment. If youre on a school it could be almost the same routine as in your local school at home. But it could also be hellish day and night marches interrupted with firefighting and anything between it. Go in there and find out! Johan

Army life has no morning or night ,its the same. Being in the army is the toughest , most courageous, and dangerous job in the world. I think all the politicians should join the army and be posted in Iraq or Afganistan for a week and see what kind of situation they have put them into. Only then, they will realized the peril of sending troops unnecessarily and risking their life for things they don't believe in.

Sometimes it's boring but then again, I have lived all over the world in the last 24 years that I have been in. Right now I'm living in Korea. If you like to travel and serve your country. You may consider the military.
