For those that say they support the troops, how can you say that, and also say that you don't support our GOV or president?

First of all, "our troops" joined of their own free will, to KILL! You say you are against the killing of Iraqi's right? Then how can you support the troops?

You can't have your cake and eat it to people! If you support the troops, you support killing Iraqi's and other foreign nationals, both MIL and civilian!

Ok, so you say it's a patrotic gesture or your son is a soldier, so what? You STILL support KILLING, and inherently support the GOV!

So, all that said, next, what do you DO to "support" the troops? Put a magnet on your car? Where a t-shirt? Or do you send food and medical supplies to the troops? Do you donate money to services providing free cell phone calls to the troops? What exactly do YOU do to support the troops?

I served 3 enlisments in the US Navy, I did my part, AND my tax dollars are funding this crazy "war" in Iraq. 'Nuff said!

2./They and the rest of the world already have forgotten about that so called "kidnapped soldier".

I was cooking out and a guest told me that he had been asked the question on a military exam. My response was disbelief. He said that all military outpost flagpole trucks contain three things: a razor, a bullet, and a pack of matches. He added that upon being over-run, the last guard was to shred the flag with the blade, burn the confetti, and shoot him/herself in the head. Where did he really get this urban legend BS?...Final Fantasy, Final Destination. Help!

Let's be honest. None of you want answers. You just want to argue. Noone cares. If you don't like how things are running; get in a posistion to change things or shutup. Your whining changes little.
Personally I'm glad I got stationed out here so I don't have to hear all the b1tching in person.

Before some Einstien gets the chance to say "OHMIGOD LOK AT TEH IRONY EL OH ELZ", you can find irony in anything. That's the beauty of English. Sorry, find a unique way to be an idiot.

Not the governing body but the military itself. Not looking for thoughts about the president or his cabinet, not even necessarily the war (though it will be hard to get away from it, I know).
