First, I'll just say that I know I won't change your mind, and nobody else on here will either. Not there is the intention to change minds on here...just people giving their thoughts. But the debate will go on forever. Both sides will always think they are right. And personally, there's things I support Bush on, and things I don't support him on.

Bush sent our troops to go to war. If any individual troops did any of what you said, it would be their wrong decision as individuals (and not that all of our troops would do that...they go to do their job, follow their orders and go after the enemy, not civilians). Bush did not send troops to wage war against civilian Iraqis. However, a terrorist leader sent brainwashed followers to the US to kill our civilians. Bush would have looked worse as a president if he didn't declare a war against the terrorists. We were attacked, so we had to fight back.

If anyone, Hussein should be charged with war crimes going back to Desert Storm. As far as his involvement with funding 9/11, well, the terrorists and Hussein both hate the US...so that makes Hussein dangerous. And he had all that wealth to fund any evil cause. As for whether or not he had WMDs, it doesn't have to be a collection of missiles hidden somewhere. He used chemical weapons in the past. That can kill a large number of people, so that's WMDs right there. And besides, why did Hussein feel the need to hide out in a spider hole if there was not guilt on his part?

I'll give you credit, though...that at least your question was one of current events instead of some blatant racist or perverted question.

No I don't think he should be charged with war crimes. What is with people. They want a strong leader that won't back down in times of trouble and say they should be strong enough to take a stand then when he does and people get hurt they say nobody should get hurt. No I don't want people to die but if it means keeping idiots from coming over here and pulling another 911 or keeping idiots that like to die to kill FREE people like us than I stand behind him all the way. People get hurt in war-its a part of war. Our men fight for a cause because they choose to. Nobody made then go they volunteered. There is no draft anymore. I think he has guts. People need to stand behind there president. Besides do you really think he makes all the big decisions alone? There are people among the whole political system that help with these decisions..Republican and Democrat alike. Be for real has there ever been a president that was perfect? I can't think of one. I wave my flag proudly and take my freedom seriously. I back all the soldiers at war and hope they come home safely.

You can hate the President all you want and say how terrible he is for going to war, but the man has defiantly committed NO war crimes. And when a solider does something illegal over there, rape, murder anything illegal, it's not the President's fault! The man can't be held responsible for every Service Member, and it's ignorant to think he should be!

You can say you support the troops all you want, but what you just said, undermines what they are dying for over there. Just think, if you were over there, you could not and would not have the freedom of speech that you do here, or if so, you take the chance of your family or you getting shot for doing so......What a stupid thing to insinuate that President Bush is a war criminal....Obviously, you need to go back and learn exactly what a war criminal is. When you do, apologize to all of our troops for saying that they are dying for nothing. My son is over there. Be thankful you aren't. If we sent people with your opinion over there, god only knows that that is where you all belong. Then, our innocent young soldiers can come home.

NO!!!! Now if you were asking about SADDAM -- YES!!! he Definitely committed War Crimes!

By the way, where do you get your information -- Troops can NOT be deployed anywhere by the President withOUT the approval/notice of Congress -- so NO, George Bush did NOT force the issue. This was a matter of a Terrorist Attack on the US by TERRORISTS who threaten the American Way of Life and AMERICANS -- and War is declared.

The answer is no until you cite the Law of War you think he violated and provide some evidence.

I would also argue that he did not premeditate nor order the killing or rape of women and children. I do not ever remember receiving such orders either time I was there. The precautions and restrictions we are under in order to prevent such unnecessary deaths actually place us under greater danger.

Absolutely not! For one how many innocent people died in America on 9-11, and two how many of those soldiers were forced to join the military?
Just some food for thought.

It is people like you that have forgotten hundreds of Americans jumping out windows 300 meters above ground to escape fire after the airplanes flew into the towers in NYC on 9/11.

It is people like you that have forgotten the thousands of Americans who have sacrificed their lives for your freedom.

It is people like you who have forgotten the loss of over 200 Marines in Lebanon in 1983.

It is people like you who have forgotten the 99 Americans blown-up in Saudi Arabia.

It is people like you who have forgotten the Rangers that died in Somolia, and Americans dragged through the streets.

It is people like you who have forgotten that Americans stood up for an Islamic land and kicked the Iraq Army out of Kuwait.

It is people like you who have forgotten the brave men and women sacrificing their lives in natural disasters.

It is people like you who have forgotten the defense contractors escorting humanitarian workers in Iraq, ambushed, burned and hanged on a bridge.

It is people like you who want freedom and democracy but cry when it doesn't go their way.

No one except the prison scandal has been found guilty yet in a court of law.

Don't believe our liberal media. They would rather show a soldiers dying, than a soldier giving first aid or building a school.

And if the soldiers are found guilty in a court of law for rape, then they will be punished.

If your an American, you really need to re-look at your values, and be thankfull for what you have...if not then go to Canada.

As for charging the President of the United States on the crimes you mentioned...........IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Are you dumb? He cannot personally control the actions of individual soldiers. He went to war with a country and that's it. That's a completely legal action amongst countries. Just because the UN doesn't agree with it, let's just say that the UN isn't god like they think they are, and they have very little power to do anything. They are not the deciding voice of this country, we are. So lets stop allowing them to control us.

Unfortunately the uninformed continue to blatantly speak out!! The Geneva convention is for application to armies.. not guerillas. The have no uniform nor do they represent any country. Do a bit of research before making such rash and brash statements.
