First, don't be so impressed with yourself. If you think you're the only one or the first one to ask that question, you are mistaken. I've been reading that one for months.
Second, why should anyone feel ashamed of "putting you down?" Do you think you're the only one who has the right to say what they want? Those who "put you down" have the same rights of free speech as you do whether or not you like what they say. Third, if I were disagreeing with my brother or uncle or son, I think I'd already know what they thought before I read it on the Internet. It could be someone from another country, true, but should I be worried what I said about them simply because they are from another country? Finally, Bush should NOT be charged with war crimes because he hasn't committed any war crimes, so the whole question is moot.

What would be the charges?

Genocide.
Ordering the massacre of thousands.
Committing to the annihilation of another group do to their religious beliefs.

Because these are the charges against those who we are fighting. Namely Saddam, Bin Laden and their followers.

You may not like Bush, you may not like the Republican party, but to even suggest that any president of the USA, whether a Conservative or Liberal has committed crimes against humanity is beyond belief. Clinton was not lily white when it came to ordering military intervention (we're still in the Balkans), but even the most Conservatives of conservatives did not suggest what you have.

Maybe, but there've been stories in the Washington Post and AP about Bushies drafting laws which would retroactively protect them from war crimes prosecution. Here's a link and the headline. So not to worry, they have figured out ways to avoid prosecution; it ain't gonna happen!

The Bush administration has drafted amendments to a war crimes law that would eliminate the risk of prosecution for political appointees, CIA officers and former military personnel for humiliating or degrading war prisoners, according to U.S. officials and a copy of the amendments.

You only have rights when you have discharged your reponsibilities.

You claim that you are able to differentiate between those who put you down and those that backed you.

People of our ilk create conditions so that the rest of our population can live in peace and tranquility. We are prepared to go in the way of harm in order that you do not have to.

I am glad we have not met, because I would knock you into a cocked hat! Go and live in a sewer, and complain that the Local Authority do not clean it out often enough.Eat what you can find in the rat-pit. Jerk!

You have a right to say what you want, but you have a responsibility for what you say. The freedom of speech you wrap yourself in is also guaranteed to every one else. Say what you want. Expect others to do the same. Freedom of speech is a two way street.

Your rights were not stepped on. Did anyone prevent you from asking your question? People merely told you what they thought of your opinion. Others have rights too....that's the way it works. Say something stupid...expect to be told.

This forum has opened my eyes to a lot of problems I was not aware of. If I put you down I am sorry. If certain questions are not answered I may agree with you.

no people waste there time by coming into the military section all the time and ask that. Its basically just pointless to ask in this section cause one we cant do anything about it and two with us being in the military we cant say or do anything negative towards the president. You see what I mean when I say your wasting your time asking us.

It is a legitimate question on this forum. It has been ask before and always gets the same hate answers from his supporters, but if you look at it a trial for war crimes is just what we need. If found guilty he should be punished if not he should be set free. It is the American way.
