Sex in a combat zone (or a base like the one in Afghanistan I'm stationed at which is sometimes a combat zone, sometimes a dog and pony show, and sometimes a god damned tea party) is prohibited under General Articles #1. It basically says keep your little soldiers in their zipper barracks till you get back, boys. This rule extends to include alchohal, drugs, and for the army - probably smiling, being an individual, and breathing without permission are prohibited.
So what does this mean? Does it mean we don't have sex? Well - personally I don't have sex. But yes - a lot of the dirtier, less mature, and emptyheaded folks do have sex - ANY WAY THEY CAN WITH ANYONE THEY CAN. Not neccesarily through rape though. It's easier for the girls than the men, as the ratio is always a nightmare.
Do we have sex with the locals? Maybe if we were in Germany...you don't leave the base with less than 18 of your buddies and you're wearing Kevlar, weapons galore, and a big fish bowl on your head - Oh **** watch out ladies I've got my pimp suit on.
In addition, most these countries' women aren't allowed to look at us. They literally turn away when they see us.
If we wanted a whore, we could find one on base. It's no mystery that kind of thing happens. Personally I wouldn't want the diseases. I can wait a year.
But oh lordie lordie, those Afghanistan Hotties in their Manjammies - So hot!

OF COURSE they are. Do you recall the troops who were prosecuted or perscuted fo rthe turture in prison? After the arrests, one gave birth to another defendant's child. It's obvious going on a lot. They don't talk about it, any more than the significant number of lesbians in the military. IT;s the one secret they can keep.

when my husbands ship was in port for 3 days, guys (MARRIED guys) told him about them buying whores.......you figure out the rest. of course they do it, like someone else said, not all of them do it. the faithful and honest ones are truthful to there loves back home, but theres always going to be a bad few
