For those that say they support the troops, how can you say that, and also say that you don't support our GOV or president?

First of all, "our troops" joined of their own free will, to KILL! You say you are against the killing of Iraqi's right? Then how can you support the troops?

You can't have your cake and eat it to people! If you support the troops, you support killing Iraqi's and other foreign nationals, both MIL and civilian!

Ok, so you say it's a patrotic gesture or your son is a soldier, so what? You STILL support KILLING, and inherently support the GOV!

So, all that said, next, what do you DO to "support" the troops? Put a magnet on your car? Where a t-shirt? Or do you send food and medical supplies to the troops? Do you donate money to services providing free cell phone calls to the troops? What exactly do YOU do to support the troops?

I served 3 enlisments in the US Navy, I did my part, AND my tax dollars are funding this crazy "war" in Iraq. 'Nuff said!

Iraq has nothing to do with 9-11, we went to Afghanistan to take care of the Taliban for that, and rightfully so! So why are we in Iraq? And no, it's not just for oil! I believe we are there for a stragtegic location in the middle east. No, we aren't there for humanitarium reasons either. If we were, we would have been in Sudan, China, and other places to!

I get what your saying but we are not trained to kill civilians. That is just an unfortunate thing that happens. They are just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I do agree with everything else you had to say though.

HAHA...I dont think anyone else got the point you were trying to make.

After 9-11 Everyone was signing up for the war to go after the bastards that hit us. That is awesome! We stood together as a Nation, and now....the Troops that enlisted are paying the price by having a Dumb *** President and Rumsfeld to not know when to stop! The Soldiers are fighting for us....and are forced to be there mostly because of Our 1st Retarded President and his back up mentally challenged group. It is NOT the Troops fault the President Lies about Iraq
Torture of Prisoners
Illegal Wiretaps....The Troops are just the Guys doing their duty and doing it well. They want to get home more than you think. If you don't stand behind the Troops feel free to stand in front of them. I support the Troops but question the leaders....There are more terrorists today than when we invaded. You can thank good old DubYa for that. I am Proud of our troops for getting their orders complete and trying to get home to us. They signed up with good intentions, and are the TRUE Brave ones.

Most troops joined to defend our nation, not to KILL. What was your reasoning? Probably the same that mine was - national pride and a sense of duty.

I support the troops. I donate to military charities. I have ridden with Patriot Guard. I wrote my senators and representatives when they were voting to cut military pay and benefits.

I DO NOT support the President. I DO NOT support his decision to put our brave soldiers in harms way to "free" Iraqis (or whatever they're using for an excuse this week).
I cannot, in good conscience, sit idly by and watch as we systematically destroy a sovereign nation based on poor intelligence while bankrupting our nation, financially and morally.

These guys have never been in the Military, old bean.Orders are orders, and we do not choose the enemy.

Nobody joins the military to kill. If you want to kill people, you can get a gun easy enough these days.

I was never a front line warrior - I am a cook. But the guys on my minesweeper always got hot grub (chow), even though I was in my galley 18 hours a day. I'm glad, however, that the Supplies Officer (Pusser) did not keep too tight a record on the wine consumption!

I'm not sure I understand your point. Are you criticizing those who say they support the troops but not the president or the war, or are you saying that we shouldn't support the troops because people die in war? I support the troops, the war, and the president. I support them in my words and actions. I support them by thanking them, by sending packages, by my vote, by my taxes, by writing letters, and by raising a daughter that loves her country enough to serve.

I am not against killing. Like it or not that is what war is about. I AM against murder and I will not be an apologist for criminals.

I also served two tours in vietnam. "Nuff said?"

First of all, if it weren't for war, we wouldn't be a free nation today, giving you the right to say whatever you want to, no matter how foolish. I hate the fact that innocent people always get killed when there is a war. But these people have invaded our country. What do you want to do? Let them get away with it and continue doing it? I don't want them bringing their destruction over here. We have to support our troops, our country, and our president in this. We have to stand together and send them a message. God bless our country! God bless our troops ! God bless our president!!
