Not the governing body but the military itself. Not looking for thoughts about the president or his cabinet, not even necessarily the war (though it will be hard to get away from it, I know).

I'm already in the Army, stationed in Germany as a helicopter engine mechanic. It's really a neat job.

I served a full career and retired -- so you can easily see my thoughts on the Military -- it provided me with some good and bad times, but I got to see things and places I never would, never had the same things confronting me day after day, and got retrained, cross trained, trained into entirely new fields, got my Master's Degree .... etc etc etc.

I'm enjoying myself. The military has given me training, a paycheck, college money, and opportunities that no other job/career could. I also get to know that I have actually done something for people at the end of the day.

I had a great time in the military. i would highly recomend it to any person. if you do go try to get an oversees base because when else are you going to get to see that. i saw a few people that hated it but that was a very small % of us. it will teach you a lot about teamwork and disipline. if you are thinking about it you should do it. i would say air force, but any service is good. so good luck to you and i hope you get to defend your country too.

Military in a great leadership training. I believe most military personnel were shaped to be obedient and disciplined citizens. The hierarchy of military re symbols the chain of command they have. My only problem with that system is "Looks WHO's in Command"? hehehe!!!

To the Military, I salute you!

It could be better, then again it could be worse, I'm in the Navy and so I'm enjoying it. But there are always positive and negative sides.
