I thought I read somewhere that only three people per graduate could attend the ceremony. Is this true??

4 tickets per graduate are issued, although if more show up and there is room in the facility, they will be allowed in. But this isn't a guarentee. I wouldn't expect to show up with 20 family members and expect that they will all be allowed inside. there will be several hundred OTHER recruits graduating that day as well, and they will most likely have guests coming too.

Normally, it is the immediate family that is allowed to attend the graduation from Basic -- and it is usually held outside on a parade ground (so there is plenty of room). BUT ... your daughter will know because her 1st Sgt and Drill Instructor will provide that information as the time gets closer to graduation day.

I was never in the Navy and its been a while since I graduated but I think how it works is you will get a letter allowing you to have one vehicle pass. Who ever fits in that vehicle will be allowed on post.

I had all my immediate family and then my girlfriend at the time....

This might not be much help, but my son is in the Marines and as many people who want to attend can go to that graduation. It's outdoors though, so there might be less space constraint compared to if yours is inside.

Not sure about the navy b/c hubby is army but he had almost 20 ppl there and there were alot of ppl without anyone there. I think it's safe to assume you can have as many ppl as you want.

take em all and make a weekend out of ot - my co-worker just did! her daughter just graduated a month or so ago! be prepared -- your daughter will have matured a lot and when you see her in her uniform.... ENJOY and please thank your daughter for me! Thank her for joining the service to keep us in the USA!
