I have issues with the "support our troops" saying! All the magnetic ribbons on cars and such, just WHAT does that do for the troops? Also, how do people REALLY support the troops? Just by saying you do, or are you active in collecting cookies for them, or telling people how to send gifts, or what?
I personally do nothing to "support" our troops, I already served in the Navy, so I did my part, and my tax dollars are being spent on them for me, what else is there?

D!!!
After 9-11 Everyone was signing up for the war to go after the bastards that hit us. That is awesome! We stood together as a Nation, and now....the Troops that enlisted are paying the price by having a Dumb *** President and Rumsfeld to not know when to stop! The Soldiers are fighting for us....and are forced to be there mostly because of Our 1st Retarded President and his back up mentally challenged group. It is NOT the Troops fault the President Lies about Iraq
Torture of Prisoners
Illegal Wiretaps....The Troops are just the Guys doing their duty and doing it well. They want to get home more than you think. If you don't stand behind the Troops feel free to stand in front of them. I support the Troops but question the leaders....There are more terrorists today than when we invaded. You can thank good old DubYa for that. I am Proud of our troops for getting their orders complete and trying to get home to us. They signed up with good intentions, and are the TRUE Brave ones.
God Bless America and those willing to fight for us!

c. Totally
note: Regardless of why they are over there...I have a cousin who guards the president and when he came down to see me this is what he said: "It's really hard to do my work all the way and then hear the media or any American flip the switch and tell us we're wrong. This job doesn't call my duty to them, it is what we believe this nation was founded on and to the President whom we must trust with our mission in Iraq. It is utterly disgusting to me when those who know that our duty but do not support it. We knew exactly that we could become a casualty the minute we signed up. It was part of the point but our own people, the Americans are ignorant."

c~ I support them totally by wanting them to come home from a senseless war. Its not the troops I don't support, its the war I don't support. People seem to get these confused. The troops aren't the ones who started this so how can someone not support them? They are just doing what they have to do. But I don't understand how term " I support the troops" came to mean "I support the war and anyone who doesn't support the war doesn't support the troops". Totally false. I support the troops by wanting them to come home to their families. I don't support George Bush or the war.

Totally. If we should withdrawal Iran will take over Iraq. We also can not give up in our war against terrorism. Remember, those 10 airliners if we didn't intercept!!!
It's very sad to hear another bombing and the lost of more troops.
God bless our troops.

I support our troops but I hate our government for sending them out there. It's just a shame they chose a occupation that involves risking their lives but someone has to do the job and if you don't support the soldiers when our country gets invaded who will be left to save us?

d. 110% Of course I would have to, they are fighting so I don't have to. However, I don't support the reasons they are fighting right now in Iraq. So what I'm saying is to hell with our conservative leadership!
