since they occupied iraq and afghanistan innocent lives are brutally being killed their military which is present there is kept as silent spectators, even inside america muslims are treated as second grade citizens, racism and all sorts of descriminations and see in middle east like U.A.E, K.S.A.,QATAR,BAHRAIN AND IN KUWAIT how the americans and europeans being treated and got higher posts and well paid.they can feel like as if they are in their own country so no racism, no descrimination then how come in amirica it is upside down?

I am going to a recruiter and I want to know, at 41 with BS from University of Virginia, what is the recommendation for Gaurd or Reserves:

Most needed positions that need to be filled
The most prestigous assignment
Least physical assignment in Iraq / odds of going to Iraq

Views particularly welcome from abroad. For those of you that don't know, but should, the Royal Navy is the Navy of the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is the real name for what americans tend to call England.

Every now and then we hear about the trial of US soldiers charged with murder and rape in Iraq. Is this how they are trained to act on humanity, is this the freedom?. I don't think so, but why all these. Abu Graib, Haditha and others, it is unfortunate for a person who storm your country with peace and freedom (Heavy bombs & killings) and yet did not live you alone, then go on raping and murdering, and still telling the world that he is keeping peace in that particular area. Is this FREEDOM/PEACE? No!!! I do not think so, may be it is something else; so what is it?

I am going to join the military. Just not sure which branch yet. I want to travel a lot and have opportunities to continue my college education while serving. I already have a bachelors degree in business and am 23 years old. Which branch offers the best benefits? Which branch should I join? I want to go into either finance, aviation or military intelligence.

Sometimes they only tell half a story to make fit their agenda. An example of this is the Camp Penalten marines who were just recently charged with killing an Iraqi and planting evidence. They were before the news report not charged and locked up in solitary confinment. Where were they then?
