P.S. I know I spelled communist wrong. I didn't have space and I thought a "T" would be more important than two "M"'s so don't email me that stupid.

Generally, how are Coast Guards viewed by other military branches? Like, i heard the Navy and the Marines usually get along with each other. Is there a great respect, or a sentiment of inferiority b.w the C. Guards and other branches? I was thinking of joining.

The Palestinians have demanded the release of 1500 terrorists that the Israelis are holding or as they have put it "the case of the Israeli soldier is closed".....meaning they will kill him. Do you think the Israelis should turn the tables on them and start executing the Palestinian prisoners one at a time until their own soldier is released?

Everyone knows that Pres. Bush has daughters but as much sympathy as he puts into our troops would the war really of been changed in the beginning? Ask yourselves this. But also consider the woman (mother of a soldier) that died over in Iraq & she is protesting against the war b/c of her son. Thats like taking her own sons name and stomping it in the ground.

So when the day comes they have to cut and run like they did in Vietnam they...... ( Marines and Army ) won't look out of shape when they get defeated and go down in abject shame.

It is not legitimate to cut off 750,000 people from electricity.

It is not legitimate to call on 20,000 people to run from their homes and turn their towns into ghost towns.

It is not legitimate to penetrate Syria's airspace.

It is not legitimate to kidnap half a government and a quarter of a parliament.

Will the blackout of Gaza bring down the Hamas government or cause the population to rally around it?
And even if the Hamas government falls, as Washington wants, what will happen on the day after?
These are questions for which nobody has any real answers. As usual here: Quiet, we're shooting. But this time they are not only shooting. Israelis are bombing and shelling, darkening and destroying, imposing a siege and kidnapping like the worst of terrorists and nobody breaks the silence to ask, what the hell for, and according to what right?

They have no right. Tell your politicians so. Save some people from the Nazi-like tactics going on in Palestine as we sit.

We Americans are very good and working for Democracy and we want liberty for people who they are living in Muslim countries. People in such countries are Muslims and they need western democracy, which we think is right for them because in our system we introduces fine banking system which is based on interest and usury, although this kind of banking was rejected by all Prophets (peace be upon all of them) including Jesus (peace be upon Him), but as every one know, we are secular state which does not allow God either in our banking system nor in our daily lives, God should live in Church. Second thing which I want is liberty for Muslims, So we want their women naked by the name of liberty even on TV as we do with our women, we think their women is not happy, so we try our best to reach in their homes through our satanic media, which tells them real meaning of liberty. We don’t want rapist to be punished in Islamic way, this is the reason our society has a big amount of rapists and one can see some in Iraq too. We are controlled by sex and we want them to do same. We want Muslims to eat pork and drink liqueur as it was prohibited by Jesus (peace be upon Him) too. We have very fine media which works 24 hours a day to protect our system and to prove them terrorists, of course we also do home work to divide Muslims, if we don’t do all of this then who will fight for us in their countries?

Question: How much is an Iraqi life worth? Answer: A lot less than an American or British life, according to the amount of compensation paid to the relatives of victims.

During the siege of Fallujah, where US soldiers killed 18 people and wounded 78 during an April 2004 firefight, the American military commander in the area paid $1,500 for each fatality and $500 for each injury.

Last year a Seattle woman was awarded $45,000 for the wrongful death of her cat.

I asked a question and got a few sweet messages for people in the military. I know a few people in the service and I'd like everyone to spread their thanks to them so I can email this page to them (or at least print it and send it to them)
My message to them: I want to thank you for all you have done for us!! I don't have the courage to do what you have done! Thank you for picking up where I have slacked! Thanks to all of the military! Past, Present, and Future!
Again I can't say it enough thank you and god bless each and every one of you!!

I live in the UK, and am just curious - I know the americans faught in it, have seen films like platoon etc, but no film Ive seen really explains the details. What started the war? what was it about?

Please dont think Im having a go at the americans, and americans might find my ignorance appaling, but as the brits werent involved, its not something we study in school, and im just curious as to what it was about. Vietnam seems a long way off from america, why were the americans involved? Were any other countries involved?

I was born a long time after vietnam, but would love to know more.

Thanks. xx
