We have been told since he is an only child, that he will not be sent to fight, but I am worried about it anyway. He is going to be a Marine, if there is a need for soldiers, how do know this rule will keep him out.

His name was Homer Hooper SR. My aunt was given money for it twice and both times she cashed the check and spent it on something else. I would really like my grandfather to have a headstone it is something he earned in his life time he served in the war and it is the least that could be done to horner him. It was filed through the millitary by my aunt who is Emma Landau (madian name Hooper). My family can not afford a headstone it has gone for 20 yrs without one and I would like to have the peace in my life to know that he has a headstone for people to remember him.

Every person in society is told that college is where they should go after high school. Why are they not encourged to go to the military? What advantages does an 18 year old college student have over an 18 year old in the military?

Everytime I hear of a soldier who was 18 or 19 years old who died in the war it makes me mad and sad. Damn they just got out of high school! They haven't even experienced true adulthood! They just give a kid a gun and say shoot!! They really have no experience that quick.

If I want to make a complaint against a Military Attorney who did a poor job of defending me,also including breach of the Attorney client privilige, misrepresentation, and unethical defense attorney tactics what can I do to seek jstice. At an administrative hearing my Attorney provided me with paperwork requesting that I allow documents pertaining to my medical records and the ongoing investigation into the sexual assaults.

My Attorney said that I should sign the documents if I wanted to and not to if I didn’t want to. Believing that my Attorney was concerned with what was in my best interest I acknowledged. I am not one who is aware of legal matters. I depended on him to give good, sound advice. However, contrary to this he later objected to the introduction of my medical records and the criminal investigation.

If my Attorney disagreed with the admission of my medical records because it was not allowed, or if he felt that my command should not be using information from an investigation still ongoing why did present me with documentation that if signed consented.

In my opinion he acted in a manner that is contrary to good order and discipline. He not only broke the patient client privilege, he betrayed his client. This is gross misrepresentation of me the client. What can I do?

If one is openly gay, they are unable to participate in the armed forces. The "Don't ask Don't tell" policy is currently in use, but multiple homosexuals say that they told no one and were still kicked out. With the current situation abroad, should this policy still be in effect?

But What are the chances of this happening again? I don't want him to go! What's y'll opinion about this will he eventually go? When do you think the war in Iraq will come close to an end to the point where we our troops are coming home?

"People have asked me, aren't you abandoning your troops in the decision you've made? No I'm not. The best way I can support my fellow soldiers and those under me is by helping to oppose an illegal war and helping to end it."
