ok...so heres the plan...my bf is leaving for the air force in a few months, and then, next year im going up there to see him, and we are planning on getting married (at the justice of the peace)...we want to be married asap, but are kinda young....we know we wont have the $ for a big wedding for quite a while...so we were thinking we could go get tie the knot at the justice of the peace at first...so that i can live on base w/ him...and then saving $ so we can have a big wedding w/ lots of friends and family later when we have the $.....so im wondering if anyone has ever done that before??..and if you have...how did your family react?....and if youve never expierienced this...what do you think about it...? how do you think your family would react?

Since May, 1948, Israel has survived several surprise attacks by almost all of her Moslem neighbors and yet she survives until this day. She won the 6-Day War and several others, all defensive wars. She signs peace agreements and the other partners give nothing in return, and she is condemned for genocide and crimes against humanity for occupying "Palestine". Are the Jews and the Christian Right correct when they say that their God is protecting the nation of Israel? Or is Allah waiting to take Jerusalem from them and all of Palestine? All of the world is watching and I must remain neutral.

I'm so tired of this war. I think we have done enough in just helping form a new government in Iraq. We went over there expecting "nuclear weapons" and found no proof of it. I'm glad we done so much for the Iraqi people, but these troops need to be out of danger and with their families. Now, instead of being killed on American soil, they are dying overseas. Support for the war is at it's lowest ever. Democrats are uniting again to get Bush to pull tropps out.

Ok. I know we are all tired of the Isreal/Lebanon BS questions. Myself included actually.
But I was just reading Aljazeera's website & Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has directed his country's military to heighten its readiness, vowing to back Lebanese resistance.

I have a feeling this time, it's going to become a major crisis now that Bush has *quotes* about this posted.

My real question is this? As useless as the UN really is in solving chit. Why does the Lebanese Government allow these idiots to even reside on Lebanese soil?
As bad as I feel for all the innocent people of Lebanon, and not understanding everything entirely, I don't get why a Government would allow a militant group to even exist on their soil.

It seems that George and Condi just wait by the phone to find out what the Israelis want us to do and to say next.

Anyone on Ft. Knox knows what I am talking about. I've had my share of problems with Army mechanics, but at least they are basically indentured servants like me. They stay until the job is done. Since being on Ft. Knox, I don't think I've taken a single tank to the field that doesn't have at least a full page worth of faults to go with it.

If there is no surviving spouse to receive the burial flag after the Military Honors in a funeral, is there a law or "rule" that anyone can send me that proves that the oldest child of the deceased would be next in line to receive it? Please answer with a valid website reference that I can prove the answer with, to the local funeral director that says only the "oldest son" can receive the flag. I am a funeral director myself, and I know this is incorrect, but I need valid proof I can print out and take to him. Preferably from a govermental website.
