I feel the citizens can be trusted to vote for a replacement that will continue to protect us(Republican)

Absolutely not!
I voted for Bush twice and I support him as far as his policies regarding the war on terrorism. All in all I think he has done a good job. However the day any presidents term is "extended indefinately" we are in big trouble. If congress should ever decide for any reason that the number of terms a president may serve should be increased, I certainly don't think it should apply to whomever is currently president.

Should Donald Duck be elected POPE? I think we should have a military junta overthrow Bush out of the White House whereas an impeachment would be too beauracratic and time consuming.
