One of the best examples of this is Hickam Air Force Base / Honolulu International airport in Hawaii. It's quite active, with military aircraft and commercial airliners landing near-simultaneously. Once on the ground, the commercials head over to the terminal, while the military craft do a long taxi over to the Air Force side.

It's actually pretty common. I was stationed on an Air Base in Japan that was used jointly for civilian/airline use, and combat military operations.
