The Palestinians have demanded the release of 1500 terrorists that the Israelis are holding or as they have put it "the case of the Israeli soldier is closed".....meaning they will kill him. Do you think the Israelis should turn the tables on them and start executing the Palestinian prisoners one at a time until their own soldier is released?

hmorad87 I didn't say this was my stance, I was asking a question. I could make an argument for doing this but it would be lengthy and the questioner is not supposed to be making speeches.

Should one of the militant factions of the Palestinians kill the Israeli soldier, the matter is more serious than anyone now imagines it to be.
The order to kill the Israeli soldier would be on direct order of the Syrians who control the "radical" elements in Palestine, and the Israeli Government would surely go after Syria, as the Palestinians can be taken care of easily, and at a later date.
Israel is not concerned about killing Palestinians, note Ariel Sharon's attack on Palestinian refugee camps Sabra and Shatia during the incursion into Lebanon.
Syrian President Assad knows full well that the IDF would put him out of business rather quickly, and whether the US would become involved if the conflict widened is becoming more clear with the recent US commitment to keep the Strait of Hormuz open under any circumstance.
It's not really a question of executing Palestinian prisoners, in my opinion, but a matter of who the Israelis feel is ultimately responsible for the death of their soldier.
Israel doesn't play tit for tat, they are da*n serious and with the overwhelming support PM Olmert has now, and the possible "hands off" attitude the US may adopt, the IDF will be "on the move" in a heartbeat.

The situation over there is so tense with deep political differences and executing prisoners would not help in the effort to achieve peace- isn't that the ultimate goal. This will never result with that mentality. Just the thought of killing to achieve any objective disgusts me. You should re-think your stance on this.

In order to communicate with somebody you have to speak a language they understand. Since the Palestinians do not appear to speak 'civilized' the Israelis are going to have to speak 'uncivilized' to the Palestinians understand what they are saying.

in accordance to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize should be provided "to the man who shall have finished the most or the superb artwork for fraternity between international locations, for the abolition or help of status armies and for the preserving and promoting of peace congresses..... This contains no longer in person-friendly words what has been achieved, yet what's meant to be achieved contained in the destiny. The Nobel prize is extra in many circumstances provided to those who develop expertise or attempt to finish peace. actuality is, lots of those who've received the prize had no longer unavoidably "achieved" their objectives. Obama has got down to end torture, close guantanamo bay, to positioned an end to nuclear guns, and to carry peace to the middle east. those are all worth of popularity by utilizing the Nobel Commitee. we could consistently all open our historic previous books earlier we commence judging this decision, which has similarities to previous recipients. as far because the wars flow, we are in Afghanistan to flow after those who seek for to spoil peace and terrorize those who seek for it. it continues to be a pursuit of peace.
