be station at Fort Meyer Virginia. Does it snow alot in Virginia?

The average annual snowfall is 15 inches (381 mm) in D.C. Not terrible. Some winters are mild with little snow, but usually there are 3 or 4 small storms. You'll get the occasional Big One, but not all that often.

well, a lot is a relative term. It doesn't snow as much as in Denver, but it definitely snows more than in Miami. It also depends on the year. Some years it'll snow once, while other years it might snow ten times.

it can get really nasty in the winter but it doesn't last long.The winters are shorter.
