Yes. I would have the chance to travel to parts of the world that I would never get to see otherwise. I would get training and skills for free. I would learn discipline and respect that would never be learned without it.

Too bad I'm 43 now and it's way too late and I got in a motorcycle accident at 18 and couldn't join.

Yes -- They teach self discipline, manners, and physical fitness. You can also pick up excellent job skills and $$$ for college. Free medical and dental insurance for you and your dependents... plus many other perks out in the civilian world. Everyone saying no is doing so because of the war in IRAQ.... Well, just remeber that we are always on duty somewhere in the world and we have to be to keep those enemies from coming to our shores and fighting us here.

I did in 1999. I had to fight my way out in 2003 when I had my daughter and became a single parent. I would never recommend joining to anyone.

I guess by this question you mean the military rather than just the army, so without hesitation yes.

no, i don´t believe in the army. It´s just a greedy dispute between individuals reflecting on a major scale. I would die for love, or to give someone else life, but not for oil... its just stupid..

I am a military spouse - my husband is an officer in the Air Force, so I am biased. If you go into any service, I wouldn't enlist - I would only go in as an officer.
